Kindness and reward
 

A few days ago I was at the bus stop.. and some elder person asked if I had 50 cents cause he wanted cigs.. I gave him it. So he asked if I needed a bus pass, and I said yes.. (long trip home).. and he gave me his.. (its $4.00) bus pass.. I took it.. now, $3.50 may be much to many of you, but to a broke ass person trying to get things straight its a lot.

I didn't intend to get anything by giving this guy 50 cents, but it actually saved me a few dollars.

So anyway, have any of you been in a situation which you helped a stranger or somebody out, and in turn it/the person helped you out along the way?

A little girl once walked up to me for money,I was walking near a tree so I grabbed a leaf and gave it to her.I used to give money to poor people allot without getting anything back,I've stopped though because I've become one of those guys who loves his money and I don't trust most beggars.

Serious answer: The other day I was at the self service checkout at the supermarket and this lady who seemed to be in a hurry, didn't collect all her change and a $20 note that came out of the notes section. so I grabbed the money and went after her. Didn't get anything back other than, felt awesome for the rest of the day.

i was walking down the street the other day when i saw a woman holding two pizzas and was moving a stroller with her, so i took a few steps, realised what i had to do, went back and held the door open for her and her family

so then she looked at me and threatened to call the cops. i just stood there with a 'what the fuck' face while she walked away with her kids

one of the most genuinely bizarre things to ever happen to me my entire life

I've done a few good deeds in my life, but lately I've done quite a lot since June. All I've heard is that "I'm going to be blessed for my kindness and for being a genuine good person" but that shit hasn't happened.

No worries though. I don't do things in hopes of getting something in return. It's done out of my heart.
