I dunno, but to me, cooking is so extremely basic it's ridiculous since everybody does it. Never mentioned making 10 different things though, or was that OPs intent. Nice WK tho.

It's not like I can't feed myself. I'm pretty good at improvising and microwaving and et cetera. But nobody wants to eat 3 of my variations on spaghetti or random chicken and chinese spice mash-up for Thanksgiving. I've never cooked 15 or 20 lbs. of meat at a time, and enough sides (where everyone has a very strong preference about things like potatoes and stuffing) to feed 6 or 8 people.

Mmm...maybe you should try and order your food from somewhere. I don't know how much it cost, but I used to work at a market (Giant), and you could actually order the meal and pick it up. It's not traditional, but it's still the whole spread. Even though I can cook almost anything, Thanksgiving is something I will say away from, especially if I'm making a lot. That is basically an all night/day affair.

I dont have a problem cooking. It isnt about it being basic. It's about it being a big chunk of someones time to make a ridiculous amount of food. Just because something is basic, doesnt mean it isnt time-consuming.
