I agree when it's true, but most fat people aren't usually happy about their condition, that's why there are so many dietologists.
In a lot of cases fat is a result of a person's weakness and discontentment, some people eat, some people drink, some do drugs, some post s**t on the internet...and so on
So many gyms, yet so many fat people. Especailly in Houston. Getting sick and tired of seeing all these lovehandles in my periphreals. I'm not some gym rat but I know how to stay in shape. All these infomercials about P90x and Insanity! and no one uses it. Oh well, at least I know I won't be part of that 75%.
People give up to fast with Insanity and P90x. You can't just go to that program and expect to do what they do in the program you either start a basically training (walking, jogging, than running etc). I have seen people that start this programs and in the end of the week they are quiting.
That's because on P90x and Insanity you actually have to work hard and sweat and not just casually pedal your legs on the recumbent bike while reading a magazine.
Even if they do work out with something harder, a lot of people still overeat which means it doesn't matter if they do the harder workouts they're still gonna get fat.
Look at fat wrestlers for evidence. A match in and of itself is a strenuous cardio and strength workout, but you still have fatties wrestling.
Agree Insanity and P90x arent just any easy workouts very intense work outs that really do work and get you tired by the end of the workout. Also another big key is what you mentioned and I even did the mistake of working my ass off, but not changing my dieting. Dieting along the line of working out is the key to lose weight and tone up. I was pretty obese back in the and thanks god I am out of the danger zone. This is going to cause more health problems in the future and its the lack of exercise and the bad eating habits people have.
