It's times like this where the slogan "Land of the Free" falls kind of flat. I still wouldn't want to live in any other country (at least I don't think I would) but what about democracy and what the people want?
And of course booze is still legal while practically being a plague much more dangerous than pot ever could be.

I don't smoke it but I'm glad to see states finally undoing marijuana prohibition. It makes zero sense to me from a practical standpoint for alcohol to be completely legal, taxed, and regulated yet we're throwing people in jail for smoking grass and getting a little laid back.
The corporations and the 1 percenter fat cats will never let the hemp cultivation/usage be fully free, especially on a mass level. That would mean taking a huge crap on their carefully maintained monopolies and bulging wallets.
I want to see how sports regulate this among athletes..Like if a college player is caught using marijuana, can a coach or NCAA suspend them?
NCAA can still make it against their rules to use whatever they want no matter the legality of it. So I don't see how they would change their views on this at all.
