Wow, the way young women are treated in Pakistan and India is just insane and completely, completely wrong and just plain horrible. I do understand that they have their traditions that have lasted for centuries and lots of the population still follow those traditions but I just don't like it and don't understand. That's all I say because I could and feel like saying worse about the way all women are treated in those countries but I do not want to offend anybody who is from those countries or is one or the other nationality.
I think the whole throwing acid on a young girl and it just not disfiguring her but killing her instead is worse than the story that was posted several weeks/months back about a father in India (I think, might of been Pakistan) where he chopped his daughter's head off with a sword because she started to act or dress more like people from Western civilizations or maybe it was because she didn't want to do the arranged marriage thing, I can't remember... all I remember is the father decapitating his own daughter because she wanted something different.
Fucked up stuff, that's all I can say. Actually one more thing, the only place that I ever find out about and read these stories is always on this website and in this section.
