I've had a largely mild case of gynecomastia ever since I was 13-ish. Parents took me to a doctor, and the doctor said it almost always goes away by the time your 17-18 years old, and very common, so don't worry too much about it. That was that, and I never worried about it again until just recently (18 now). Unfortunately, my body for whatever reason didn't get rid of it as it started producing more estrogen then testosterone. Bummer, but whatever.
I'll be honest, gynecomastia has never really affected my life at all. I was a popular guy in school, had relationships, and people loved me because of my personality, not because of my body, and maybe that's why I just didn't start thinking about it recently. It never bothered me, but it was just kind of an annoyance that I couldn't take off my shirt in public, or at the swimming pool, and it kinda affected my confidence as a man, but not much.
I started working out a couple years ago, and managed to make my arms look huge, ab definition started to come, but my chest just stayed the same, and even got worse because I was adding to the already large amounts of breast tissue. I'm not a fat guy at all, in fact, I'm pretty fit as I play Rugby and Badminton, so it can't be that I have chest fat because I'm overweight.
Just wondering if any of you have had the same problems that I have. I'm looking into surgery right now, so if you guys could share any experience at all relating gynecomastia, that would be really nice
