Half of them are double/triple accounts of people, I've seen addicted facebook users make accounts for their cats and dogs or make a few accounts to win at games.

They've made it worse. There's now a "close friends" section where you can put anyone in without their knowlege, and be able to see EVERY status/photo/comment they've liked.

Didn't you see the long thread about idiotic facebook and twitter posts? I agree that it's good for keeping in touch with old friends and current friends but that's only what it's useful for. Some people spend way too much time on it.

Are you serious?
You can use Facebook to chat with your friends or relatives who are living far away. You can still keep in touch with them. It is not a waste of time at all.
It is very useful.
