hey guys i put a thread a while asking about ju jitsu, well since i have joined and its been brilliant. i thought i would like to recommend it to some people on the forum, because people have been complaining that they are bored, want to improve fitness or having nothing to do, and ju jitsu or if they want to other martial arts can help are some reasons why:

its gives you discipline
good for your fitness
great for your CV
make new friends
self defence
confidence boost
a uniform (meh some people like it)
opportunities to travel (competitions, events, conventions)
something to be proud of
something you can set goals and targets for (i have learnt that if you set goals and targets it keeps you motivated, and motivation is vital for success in all aspects of life)

i guess the only down side is the money, luckily i only have to pay 5 for a 3 hour session, but it is worth the money if you can give it a go, my advice is if it is over 9 for a 1-2 hour session then you are being ripped off.

i am willing to take your questions guys so fire away

Re: highly recommended

5 bucks for a 3 hour lesson seems really cheap but i suppose it depends on the quality of your trainer. the better they are, the more expensive it is.

Re: highly recommended

hes very good its more fitness and agility training in first hour, then self defence and ground work in second hour and then he does other martial arts in the last and takes there best aspects and mixes them with the ju jitsu, wing chun surprisingly works incredibly well with ju jitsu, which is quite surprising due to one being chinese and another being japanese (no pun intended lol)
