Alcohol is fine as long as you know your limits and don't overdo it. I have cut back on drinking quite a lot over the past year, but when I am with friends I still go on the occasional bender. And I smoke a joint before going to bed so I avoid the hangovers.

I rarely drink alcohol unless I'm out at a party or at a nightclub. I'm not too fond of the stronger beverages like whiskey and vodka, nor am I a fan beer. I do like the occasional cocktails and Cristal.

I'm in the process of cutting back my drinking. I used to just have fun just getting hammered, but then it got to the point that I needed it to just get through the day/night. Last yr made me change though. I was never really happy with the ways things were going, got drunk, and fought with my family. Terrible thing is I can't remember anything that happened. I've had way too many of those episodes. I still like it, but I can't drink rum and 40's every night.

Tastes bad and has negative effects on your body.
Changes your mental state (temporarily), as if it will somehow help you, while it actually harms you in so many ways.
So yeah, of course I was overdoing it, you can debate, but those 3 things are just enough for me to be convinced that it is bad.
