Totally jacked, bad intel. Guy was 26 & was gunned down in front of his wife & he didn't even have any marijuana. The marijuana crackdown continues to become steadily more ruthless.

I heard a story similar to this where the cops were given the wrong address and the guy they were going to get thought his house was being broken into so he grabbed a gun, went down stairs and got shot.

I swear to God if something like this happened to me I would fire as many rounds as possible, though there is no reason for this to happen unless it was a mix up or they were after my prescribed, 100% legal prescription drugs (not marijuana).

Indeed. He was shot 22 times (granted that's still a lot) and was carrying around an assault rifle. Obviously still a tragedy though if it was in fact a mix-up, hopefully they investigate.

According to ABC News, 71 shots were fired & his body was hit 60 times. The reporting varies but the core remains the same.

His 4 year old son was also home at the time. No matter how many different times he was shot, it occurred in front of his wife & with his 4 year old in the home. Shouldn't any decent amount of intel informed them of this fact? What if his son had been injured in that localized firestorm?

- They broke him & he armed himself as he'd been trained to.

- They originally claimed he fire at them. They later recanted, admitted he didn't fire, that he didn't even have the safety off.

- They admitted that they'd delayed the paramedics for attending to him & seeing as he wasn't pronounced dead till an hour after the shots.....

It was sloppy all the way around.
