Well, if you could just 'see' a period in time then, obviously not. Although I guess you could return to the present day, you could tell everyone what it would be like lol.

Past tbh. Although like others have said the whole butterfly effect thing would be always in my head. Still would rather go back in time and live through certain periods than know exactly what lies ahead of me in the future.

Re: Would you rather go back in time or forwards in time?
Definitely the past. There are a few things I wish I could change. Nothing major, there's a few things I should have said and done that would have made my life better. Fast forwarding into the future doesn't appeal to me at all.

Re: Past or Future?
Surprised so many people said the past, that doesn't really appeal to me at all. Maybe going back and fighting some dinosaurs or something but otherwise I'd definitely want to see what life is like say 1,000/10,000/100,000 years in the future to see how far science and technology has taken us

I would love to travel to the past and go to concerts held by Hendrix,Zappa,Beefhart and would love to attend woodstock.

Re: Past or Future?
Going into future means you can't go back to present, but going in past means you can go back(or in this case, forward) to the present?
I'd choose past. Relive 90s all over again lol.

Re: Past or Future?
I actually think in the future there will be some sort of interactive program or website that will have moving historic events, like you'll be able to wander around the Twin Towers right before they are hit, or experience the Titanic voyage, sort of RPG-ish.
Anyways, I'd choose past big time, if only I could just be an invisible person during the 30's mafia shootings, just scope at the warehouse when they come in and shoot away. Or go back to the cowboy days of Bonnie and Clyde and just see all their close calls.
Though to fast forward 10,000 years, and see technology is one thing...having to make up and learn 10,000 years worth of technology and understand how to use it is another ;/

Future. As an african american going into the past beyond the years i lived already wouldnt be a good idea. Saying hi to the wrong man could get me killed. Also fear of fucking up the future (which u can do easily cause your presence already changed the future) would stop me going to the past.

Like for a split second, you just forget everything you know about TNA and say "Holy shit, I'm watching Kurt Angle wrestle Sting in clown make-up on PPV in 2011 in front of 800 non-paying tourists at an amusement park." to yourself? Shit is surreal man.
