My job interview at Little Caesars

So today I went in for a job interview at Little Caesars.

It was my first time at an interview.

I wore a nice collared shirt with affliction jeans. I was just wearing all around good clean clothing. So I get there on time and there's six other people there. Not to sound mean but they weren't all that great looking and they didn't wear appropriate clothing for the interview. So she calls up this first guy and he was totally studdering, not making eye contact, and sounded like he'd rather be elsewhere. So I go up, talk at a good pace, and in my opinion I thought everything went well. She even extended her hand to shake mine, which she didn't do to the other guy before me.

Well the deal was that if you get hired, she'll call later, and if you don't get a call, then that means you weren't hired.

So needless to say, I didn't get called. And I was wondering what I might have done wrong and advice I could use for future interviews?

Was the interview today? If so, you have to give them time to call back. They don't call back on the same day, or not even the day after (unless you're lucky.)

Did she make a really big deal about being friendly and smiling really hard? If so did you smile a lot? Also, did you explain how you would be a great asset to the company and go above and beyond their expectations?

There are many more questions I could ask you but I'll stick with these first.

If I were you I'd give it a week or two then call back regardless of what they said. Hopefully you got the job but if not thank them for the interview and try your luck somewhere else.

She did say that she'd call later to schedule a second interview with you tomorrow.

It's a sad commentary on the current economic situation when there's half a dozen people fighting to get a job at Little Caesar's.

Re: My job interview at Little Caesars

By the sounds of it you did nothing wrong, sometimes you just get unlucky dude especially in the current economic climate, most important thing is to not let it get you down and keep trying with the same effort. You will get a job with that attitude it is merely a matter of time. So keep confidant and keep it up.

Also could just be an issue with your age/experience compared to other applicants. So yeah don't feel bad about it.

Re: My job interview at Little Caesars

u don't wait a week to call back, call back the next day. when u doing an interview the main thing is to be enthusiastic about the job, you've been wanting to work their for years, smile, and tell them everything u can bring to the table. you're great working with people, u love to take on new challenges, blah blah blah... if you're a good bullshitter u can nail the interviews. my success rate like 95%(granted i've never had a "real" job at an office or something), and if u know me from my posts, u know i don't really give a fuck. but working at a food place is wack, maybe if you're doing delivery ok but pick something better.

Sell your sperm until you get hired by someone. You get paid like 500 dollars every time you do it.
