First day doing any form of cardio in ages and man did it ever suck. Had a bit of time at the end of my workout as i was only doing a light routine. Did 3km on the bike then 1km rowing and felt like spewing. Ridiculous how much my cardio has dropped off recently

Depends on how often you're exercising. Shoot for around 2600 for maintenance and try and error from there.
