The results in Scotland are actually quite easier to understand although i don't get it the way Craigdanbeaton i think thats his name has posted it.
Depending on what level you are you sit from Credit, General and Foundation. Foundation is for not so smart people. Credit is the top one which the smartest people will sit and general is for everyone.
The marks range from 1-7. 7 is the only mark were it means you have failed the exam. 1 and 2 is for the credit exam and that means you have passed that. You cannot score a 1 or 2 if you are sitting General or Foundation and if you are sitting Credit you either get a 1 or 2 or fail. General marks are 3 and 4 with foundation being 5 and 6.
Okay, woo, I'm so pleased. For my AS results I got an A for Media Studies (which I am very very pleased about), a C for Geography, ICT and English Literature and an E for General Studies. I feel a right dumbass as I was two marks away from failing General Studies all together, but luckily in my school its not on the syllabus next year as its worth nothing. And my lack of effort on that exam really did seem to pay off =P
Congrats to everyone who got good results and got into uni
