I'm looking to advertise my channel, and I was looking at the youtube official advertisement program and it's pretty expensive lol... they charge daily not monthly lol.
basically the lowest plan is $10 a day.. which is like $310 a month..
is it worth it?
A lot of people, including myself, use abdlock, so many people don't see ads at all. I just think it's not worth spending that much money for it. 10 dollars per day sounds ridiculous.
I would very much doubt it, it takes a while to take off but as long you put up consistently and have good quality videos, the views will come, patience is the key with YouTube.
No. Advertising on social media is no longer feasible for startups and small businesses ... I used to run the FB page and website of a company 3-4 years ago and at the time for $5 I used to get about a 100 likes. Now it's about $25 bucks for 30 likes. Google Adwords has shown a similar drop off and Youtube uses the same algorithm ... Don't forget that advertising is no longer guaranteed because advertising itself is now based around competition. There are other people paying more so anyone on the lower end of the marketing spend spectrum is essentially paying for nothing.
If you have a fantastic idea with clear cut objectives and a business plan, crowd-funding is the way to go.
For real, porn sites. Those are the places to advertise. I'm not trying to be silly. I'm always annoyed, but I can tell you a lot about myf***book.com now :lol
You should check the rules of this forum and see if it's okay to put a link to your channel in your signature. If your content is good, that along with "word of mouth" should help some.
No, no one pays attention to them and everyone hits the skip button the second they can.
Its best to grass roots your channel and just promote it in a different way for free.
Make a Facebook page, then go on reddit and other sites to promote it. Post the new youtube video links to the FB page and it will reach people. Just keep getting people to like your page.
That advertising option is for real businesses not personal or small upstart businesses.
Your going to end up giving all of your money to Google.
Which is laughable, since Youtube is an easy way to make money if you just take your cam and start vlogging about you or your daily activities and then monities your videos.
I know nothing about this stuff but $10 a day seems like it should be illegal.
