First of all, this thread isn't discussing IF it's possible for world unity.
With that said, read on.

Imagine the earth only had one flag to represent it's people.
I'm not done, imagine no "culture" was defended to a specific group of people, as in, we all became one culture and people doing different things were just considered different from the same culture (Earthling culture if you will, like how in America there's different "cultures" all under the same umbrella of American culture), that means Jews don't get their arses kissed for their "culture" same with Asians, Middle Easterners, Europeans, Sub-Saharan Africans you name it. People simply fought over which aspect of "Earth's culture" was superior, but never recognize it in country basis.
Furthermore, Earth (the word Earth itself would mean a country) would be ruled by one government (or none at all if that's your cup of tea).
Now, you can try to mold an idea of a united world as one nation to any way you'd wish in terms of what you believe a country should be like but the question reminds do you support the idea of all of the world's countries uniting as one country officially? Or do you prefer the idea of us all divided?
......................................................................................................
I obviously prefer the idea of a united world, and fucking despise the fact that people identify with their certain geographical areas as if it means jack. This is something I've believed for a LONG time, that I am nothing but an Earthling and that was all I am. Labels like Egyptian, Russian, Japanese, Persian, etc were all meaningless to me and all flags of the world meant nothing to me. Separation is obnoxious, and makes people get hard ons for inane nonsense based on geographical aspects that help cause people to favor innocents over other innocents or even favor schmucks over innocents. I also know the races are different, and don't care, because I realize the differences between the races are ridiculously meaningless in the face of education. Ignorance divides humanity and people who want to stick to "their culture" are usually people who want to feel special about their geographical area. World unification would mean that we all either rise together, or fall together, a much better route in my opinion (though I'm trying to figure out if it's more than an opinion but maybe I'll discover that later). With whatever is the right way to have a society operate, all humans should live by it and realize we are one people, and that our differences mean nothing. I've seriously always despised the idea of nationalism or patriotism, immature (and sometimes sinister) concepts in all honesty. I can say more but you get the general idea, I want Scotland, Canada, India, China, and all countries to just become officially known as Earth.

So what do you think? Provide reasons for your view.
