Hey people , as a part of this species i would like to know how many like the human race and how many people hate it.If you like the human race then why you like it and if you hate it then why you hate it?

You can write the pros and cons of your views towards the human species.

It's a love-hate relationship.

However, most of the time, it's leaning towards a no for me.

Depends on if I'm focusing on the bad side...or the good side. Like that has any real meaning. "Good" and "bad" are mere social constructions anyway.

This, pretty much. On the spectrum of humanity, there is a fair portion that falls into the extreme end of either side. Some people are exceptionally "good", some are exceptionally "bad". The vast majority of us, however, are somewhere in between. So, I guess it balances out.

In short: Eh.

i'm a misanthrope so no..why? because more and more people are oriented religion, money, war and superficial image, and they end up stupid..and we destroy the planet on which we live (poor flora and fauna)

as I always say: the human race does not deserve to be saved

yep,it's sad to think like this..:serious:

Maybe this is just my inner misanthrope, but it is precisely because humans are so relatively advanced that makes us such a disappointment so often, both historically and every passing day. Our capacity for senseless atrocity is as unmatched as our technological development among all known sentient life.

Of course. Most problems that crop up among humans are down to individuals and not a reflection of the race as a whole. Compared to most races i'd say we have it pretty good in general.

It's not perfect, but most of the bad stuff among the human race is avoidable anyway, as a whole i think we're a good bunch.

I'm disappointed by the human race on a regular basis. On one hand we have undoubtedly great minds making enormous steps in their chosen fields, making breakthroughs in medicine, for example, or helping us to understand the very fabric of our universe. On the other hand we have a bunch of superstitious troglodytes blowing the Hell out of people in the misguided attempt at impressing a non-existent man in the sky. On one hand we have progressive thinkers who endeavor to create new sources of energy that won't destroy the planet, while on the other hand we have a bunch of selfish, greedy billionaires who value money over human life and continue to destroy the planet that we all live on because it's cheaper for them, and by the time the shit hits the fan they'll already be dead. Reading a newspaper every day (where all I seem to read about is rapists, murders, religious fanatics, ill informed racial prejudice, inequality, celebrity paedophiles, corrupt politicians and failing government services) has taken it's toll on me.

If I didn't like the human race, than I wouldn't like myself that much either, being human and all.

Sure, we fuck up a lot of stuff and cause a massive amount of issues, but a good majority of us are all right, so as a whole I guess I like us.

Ehhh...

I like my family, friends, girlfriend, and several famous people (who I know care about ethics). As for the rest of humanity? I am highly indifferent, and will either grow to like a stranger or stay indifferent towards them. Evidently though, I don't hate anyone. If I can't hate Ted Bundy, Jane Toppan, Adolf Hitler, or Mohammed, I don't think I can hate anyone.

Within a matter of years, I have noticed that society has taken an enormous step backwards in advancement. It's considered normal to keep your face buried into your cell phone, whether you're behind the wheel of a car or at a funeral. If you hold a door open for somebody, you're in the minority if they thank you. People drive down the street like it's a real life Fast & Furious movie. Parents let their kids do whatever they want, and if the kid does something wrong...well, it wasn't the kid's fault. It's only ADD. Let's just give the kid some Ritalin...Politicians backdoor the actual working people on a regular basis, but those same working people keep voting these parasites into office. Screw-job after taxpaying screw-job. Manners and common courtesy are at an all time low for my lifetime. This is now what I consider the "Me First" society.

As of late, I've actually been embarrassed to be a part of the human race. I don't want to feel this way, but I do. I just hope that this feeling will change soon.
