Yea but this one has grabby hand and rotates, it rotated and grabbed him with the gripper hand and slammed him and pushed crushing him. While yes its machinery, I bet it looked insanely far out.
It's metal hand grabbing then slamming and crushing just adds a bit of "creepiness" to it
This ain't murder. Murder requires "malice aforethought." As robots do not possess the mental capabilities of humans, they can not commit murder. This is just some dumb fuck who did his job wrong and died because of it.
True I sensationalized the title, I have an overactive imagination
Example: I can imagine him working on robot putting it together and its not going smooth and worker is having a bad day. He curses the machine, kicks it, maybe hits it with wrench or mallet in anger trying to line parts up as he gets it put together... The machine remains silent as it takes the abuse and man's curses. The man powers it up while inside the safety cage, the robot sences its opportunity. The machine spins around, grabs the man, slams him against the steel and slowly crushes him. The last sound the dying man hears almost sounds as if the robot is laughing, but it was probably just the sound of the hydraulics building and relieving pressure.
Reminds me of a guy who got his hand cut off by a machine. The company tried to fight hid worker comp claim so it sent their safety guy. It cut his hand off too.
1st off, it's not Rise of the Machines, but I am still waiting on that and believe it to be fully possible, just probably not for another 25 years at least.
2nd, this man's life is now going to be reduced to Terminator jokes when it's just a bad mistake involving this guy being grabbed and slammed by a grabbing machine used to assemble automobiles while in an area usually restricted to humans.
Waiting for Vince to read article, then realize wwe can built a robot Brock that slams and crushes opponents and he don't have to pay a part timer the amount he pays his entire roster collectively.
