Some will even if their team isn't playing because they love football and the event.
I never cared much for football and don't watch it or keep up with a team. SO I will probably be on my ps4 during the super bowl, playing a game or watching Netflix.
Nah, it's boring as fuck. I'll check who won the next morning though.
edit: I'm being me again lol. As a scottish person i'm used to a more fast paced sport and I find american football tedious. That might be a more sensitive description, cause i'm not meaning to offend.
I'm the same. I find it horrifically boring. Australian Football is so much more fast-paced and free-flowing than American Football. That's only because I've been brought up on it too, each to their own.
I'll be watching until about ten past 12 as I'm up at 6 in the morn, I love a good Super Bowl but I've only ever managed to watch 4 full shows, 3 in America and 1 when I was off Work the next day.
I will not be watching. I'm disgusted by the arrogance of the Patriots in the past 2 weeks. It's not a form of protest or anything, I just like neither team and have no interest in watching either asshat franchise win a ring.
I can't stand REAL sports. I like my sports to be fake and scripted thank you very much, just like my movies and television shows.
With all the different wrestling promotions out there right now (New Japan, Ring of Honor, TNA, Lucha Underground), whose got time for real sports anyway?
Plus, I just find people engaging in epic, choreographed battles like ancient gladiators for more entertaining than a bunch of guys trying to get a ball into a hoop or end zone, or a puck into a goal for some silly points.
Absolutely, it's football. I'm going to a Super Bowl party with the wife and family. I'm bringing lasagna, and they have TVs set up in the family room so the kids can watch the Kitten and Puppy Bowls. If the game gets too out of hand, I'll watch those as opposed to the game.
