Re: Fuck LeBron James haters

I've been sick of the word "hater" being thrown around. If you don't like an athlete or music artist, then clearly you are jealous or a hater.

It makes even less sense when it comes to music. I get labeled a "hater" and "jealous" for thinking someone is overrated or a talentless loser or something (such as Chris Brown or Drake), even though I'm a fan of both less and more successful artists. So I'm jealous of Drake, but I'm not jealous of guys worth 200 Mill more than him? Nice logic there...

Also, Lebron can be an extremely unlikable guy. Even his fans should be able to acknowledge why people hate him so much. The winning is only part of it, since that happens in every sport. And as someone else brought up, the top players just coming together is something a lot of people dislike or don't respect. The way lebron did it was even more of a joke. The guy was just so full of himself by having "the decision." Complete tool move

I thought Kobe in crunch time was make believe? Wasn't there this article on espn a few years ago that showed he was among the bottom when it came to crunch time moments?
Yeah, his killer instinct was top notch back then, eh? Tell me, what happened in the finals that year?

Re: Fuck LeBron James haters

The Mavs were the better team in 2011. I wouldn't say the Heat "should have" won that series. There was no comparison between the east and west that year. The west was far superior.

I will give LeBron credit for the last two years. He put the critics in their place. But I don't recall Jordan or Bird ever having a game where they scored 8 points in a Finals game in their damn prime like LeBron did in game 4 of that series. If anything I'm complimenting LeBron with that comment. He can probably STILL get a little better.

It's a superstar league. You need one (or more) superstar caliber players. The Pistons team that upset the Lakers might be the only team I can think of that has won the finals without a hall of fame caliber player.

I loved that Pistons squad. Chauncey, Rip, Tayshaun, Sheed and Big Ben. They were the 2000 Ravens of the NBA. The defense that team played was incredible. In the Pistons 4 wins in that Finals, the Lakers only averaged 77.5 a game. In the Lakers sole win, they only got to 99 and even that took OT. I just wish there were still teams in the league that played D that well.

Here is my thing. Miami had 2 of the 3 best players in the league on their team and another one that isn't top tier, but is easily 2nd tier. Dallas had one 2nd tier player with a strong supporting cast.

LeBron is an amazing ball player. No doubt that he has made major improvements to his overall game. I agree with you about his 4th quarter issues. Sure, he has had some great 4th quarters scattered out, but IMO no one is better than Bird or Jordan in crunch time.

Are you talking about the Bad Boy Pistons because Isiah is superstar caliber.
