Re: People that judges grammar?

I've seen people with "Excuse me for my english" or "English is not my first language" in their signatures, which is cool. I don't correct people here, but I am a grammar nazi with my friends, it annoys the shit of them and I revel in their suffering.

This, with a few exceptions. This applies to a guy like Rayfu, He's so aggro most of the time I can't tell whether his grammar is a result of angry typing or English isn't his first language.

I guess your situation is slightly different because you've admitted to having a learning disability but I don't see anything wrong in constructive criticism. Providing the person in question is capable of not taking it personally and the other party isn't being too much of a dick about it.

It's a good thing, at least in my case.

Re: People that judges grammar?

If you're English with no learning difficulties and have had a reasonable education, when you have the grammatical skills of a chimp and spelling ability of a caveman then it's no excuse. Put some fucking effort into it.

"Yes, I can hear you Clem Fandango!"

Re: People that judges grammar?

I judge people on their grammar all the time. Its harder to take someone's opinion seriously when there are major grammatical errors in it. Small errors i overlook but if i can't understand what you're saying then chances are i'm going to disregard anything that is said.

Well you definitely proved you're not an angry person since you took my post so well. Texas, eh? I was born there but my parents came to Canada when I was almost 2, I wouldn't know about the education system there. I did attend a high school in Bridgeport, CT one year and it was pathetic, just like the rest of that cesspool.
