So, since somebody think's that Flocka isn't "successful" in the rap game, let's take a look at this.

These are all of his recent and upcoming tour dates:

May 13 Englewood, CO
May 14 Albuquerque, NM
May 16 Dallas, TX
May 17 Houston, TX
May 19 Charlotte, NC
May 20 Atlanta, GA
May 22 Raleigh, NC
May 23 Virginia Beach, Virginia
May 25 Washington DC
May 26 Burgettstown, PA
May 28 Cuyahoga Falls, OH
May 30 Clarkston, MI
June 1 Noblesville, IN
June 2 Tinley Park, IL
June 3 East Rutherford, NJ
June 5 Memphis, TN
June 6 Cincinnatti, OH
June 8 Darien Center, NY
June 9 Camden, NJ
June 11 Hartford, CT
June 12 Holmdel, NJ
June 14 Saratoga Springs, NY
June 16 Wantagh, NY
June 17 Mansfield, MA
June 19 Virginia Beach, VA
June 20 Raleigh, NC
July 7 Miami, FL

Flocka was recently on USTREAM, where he mentioned that he makes $17,500 per show.

So, judging by that, Flocka will rake in $472,500 in less than 2 months. Not to mention, that clubs often pay rappers to hang out in their club for the after party. So, Flocka is easily pulling in $500,000 just for 2 months of shows and parties.

Add in his royalty checks, money from ringtones, mixtape projects and money coming in from his label and artists show profits, Brick Squad Monopoly, I'd say Waka is pretty damn successful.

EDIT: Not saying this makes Flocka the GOAT because that would be a fucking lie, I'm saying the guy is financially successful, despite his album not even going gold.

Who cares how much they sell, it's not like you will get a share of their money or anything. When Nas said hip-hop is dead back in 2006, he couldn't be any more correct. Music in general SUCKS today, whether it's "rap" or "pop". There's always some good shit everywhere but you have to look hard to find them and otherwise, today's garbage is mostly club music which is good when it comes in small margin rather than surrounding you from all angles.

And sales don't mean shit in terms of how good something is, The Carter III is nowhere near close to any Public Enemy album yet it's gone multi-platinum (3x is it?) whereas P.E. never scored anything higher than platinum. Public Enemy's music is timeless and still remembered today as some of the finest work in the great genre of hip-hop, but with Lil Wayne, his stuff is only hot for a minute then it's on to the next one. If you ask any of his teen fans today about "Lollipop", they'll say "it's old, his new song is better" which exactly shows that today's big sellers are only hot for a minute before they get "out of date" and it's time for something new. And it doesn't even have shit to do with downloading albums, hip-hop went downwards right after Biggie died in 97. That poppy, shiny suit crap took over and the genre has yet to recover since then. The amount of quality music has only become less and less with each passing year.

It's a shame that hip-hop has gone from this:

to this:

Oh well, I'll be blasting my favorite classics every day and enjoy them non-stop because any of them can be used to spell the word 'timeless'.

Obviously, Tronnik thinks that a rapper can only be successful if they have high album sales. So, he cares.

Album sales are down all the way around. Nowadays, rappers get checks off of tours, ringtones and writing songs for other people. It's been like that for a long time, now. Anybody can be a rapper if you portray an image that a portion of the audience can relate to.

Of course I'd say the same thing. For instance, I'd rather listen to Big KRIT (current) than MC Hammer or PM Dawn (past). The difference is, the amount of shit music that could be discovered back then is nowhere near the high level that is today's mainstream.

And the argument was about sales. Kool G Rap has never even gone gold but anyone who has heard of his music would probably agree that he's one of the greatest rappers ever.

And nostalgia doesn't really appeal in my case as I was not even born or too young when most of my favorite music came out. I just discovered it through the internet and ended up enjoying it a million times over what's "hot" right now.

re: LINK's anti bullying/Be A Star campaign/Now turned into the hangout thread for morons

The argument wasn't about high album sales equals a great rapper.

My argument was that album sales doesn't dictate how successful or good a rapper really is. Plenty of mixtape rappers have never dropped an album but are easily more financially stable than most rappers who drop an album once a year.

Take for instance Meek Mill and French Montana. Neither have an album out, only mixtapes, but are so booked in shows that they make more than a rapper who has 5 albums out.

I admit, there are plenty more wack rappers today than ever but it all goes back to my original statement that talent doesn't dictate success anymore. As Future said, the labels make it appear like a rapper has to dumb down his lyrics to appeal to the masses because, after all, thats what signing a record deal is about, making the label money. And regardless of your talent or how many albums you sale, the label WILL profit off you in the end.

So she tried to start a challenge giving me 24 hours to find the girl who really is on the photos.
She probably thought I am just a geek like her and would waste 24 hours of my life and search for the girl. I just wrote STFU because I won´t waste my time on internet challenges with geeks.
Then the sad attempt of proving something by posting numerous pictures and posts proving that it was really you. You wasted 2 hours quoting your own posts to prove something to me? Sad, really sad.

Then she accused me of being a bigger loser than her by posting that I have more posts per day than her.
It proved to be a epic fail because the dumb cow forgot that in the rants section the posts doesn´t count so it´s only makes sense that I have more posts per day because I am almost never in the rants section.

After all that you ran away like the cowardly bitch that you are and wrote that you take a break from the rants sections for 7 days and you would post in other sections.
I told you that you are not able to communicatte in other sections because you proved numerous times that you are probably a loser with communication problems.
And you proved me right because the 2 threads where you posted the most were the member picture thread where you commented how other people look (remember the comment of one girls cleavage?) and the new users introduction thread where you post BS comments to the new insecure users?
So you proved once again in this 2 threads that you are unable to communicate.

And some people really feel threatened by this person? That Cat dude/girl is probably bullied the most in real life so he/she bullies other people here, just like the most cyberbullies.

btw, the OP is the perfect example of a asskisser.
It made more sense to send a PM to LINK
Instead you started a thread, kissing the ass of the admins and certain users by proving how you are on their side. Disgusting

Bitch, please.

You tried to own me by saying I was pretending to be a girl and my posts are shit.

I absolutely DESTROYED you. Destroyed isn't even a strong enough term. You were absolutely obliterated. I am surprised you even show up after that A+ own you were delivered. The good thing is, if you posted a picture, no one remembers what you look like, because you would be made fun of just walking up the street of your lame city.

You will forever be butthurt because you were the recipient of one of the biggest owns this forum has ever seen.

Your excuse of not having 24 hours to prove me wrong is a cop out. You talked shit and failed to back it up. It took me a matter of minutes to obliterate you.

Go back to your sandbox, cunt, you should be ashamed of yourself for being alive.
