Re: The Brits' Use of the Term "Whilst"

i could care less about people misusing 'couldn't care less'. Mostly because it really gets on my tits. Whilst any normal person says couldn't care less there are a few wankers (ie Americans) that use the phrase wrong.

Don't worry Craig, she wouldn't cheat on your dad with you anyway

Re: The Brits' Use of the Term "Whilst"

My using "could care less" was a play on posts earlier in the thread, Craig. It irritates me as well, so much so that I actually interrupt and correct people talking IRL when they say it.

Re: The Brits' Use of the Term "Whilst"

People using their native dialect doesn't bother me.

You know what bothers me? When Americans use British dialect. I know some douchebags who grew up in fucking Illinois that say "cheers" and "bollocks" and other words they heard on BBC as a way of sounding sophisticated, when it just makes them look amazingly pretentious. You Brits you should come over here, you'd be horrified how some people are using your culture in an attempt to make themselves look cool.

I make sure to use "bloody" every time I impersonate a British person.

It's not a term. It's a word.

Re: The Brits' Use of the Term "Whilst"

Australians love us and wish they could be more like us..Americans hate us because they are too much like us and too fat and retarded to change.

True story.
