Question to Vegatarians.

Okay here it is, most Vegetarians argument when it comes to their diet, is that it's okay to kill plants because they can't feel pain, well in that case, isn't that the same as saying it's okay to kill a kid with congenital insensitivity, because they can't feel either.

Meh, pigs and cows aren't feeling any pain when I'm eating them anyway.

You know, I should be feeling disturbed, but you made hell of a lot of sense fella.

Still, I dont think Danielson would be very happy with your comments.

Traditionally/in the past, you don't kill the plant by eating what it produces. That's kinda the point of growing crops.

Now the way it's done by corporations today is a different story.

Re: Question to Vegatarians.

That is definitely not their only argument. I had a course in Environmental Sociology where we discussed vegetarianism for environmental benefits. In addition, vegetarians are healtheir if you can do it right. I tried doing it for a project but my idea of vegetarianism was replacing meat iwth doritos. You need to know how to do it.

The child would be emotionally traumatized, causing psychological pain. You can't really talk down to a carrot.

Re: Question to Vegatarians.

Saying that it's immoral to eat meat because the animals feel pain is complete garbage. I don't know if vegetarians know this, but these animals aren't tortured before they're killed. One gunshot to the skull and they're down for the count without feeling a thing. How is that inhumane? If cows, pigs, sheep, etc. were beaten to death with a hammer I could see their argument having a little more weight to it but until then, they're just being preachy and elitist.

Re: Question to Vegatarians.

There is a legit argument that animals are treated cruelly before they are slaughtered. It's not the way they are killed that's the problem it's how bad their lives are before they get killed.

Re: Question to Vegatarians.

Being a vegetarian for anything other than health/ dietary reasons or just not enjoying meat is quite retarded.

The End

Which is why hunting and/or raising your own animals for meat is a great thing.
