Munna Bhai M.B.B.S said in post #9 :
You guys will soon find out what Osama can really do he is fighting for the world to save it from the injustice of America. He is a freedom fighter. All the great guys were hailed as moron first like Gandhi,Gallileo,Nelson Mandela,Mother Teresa. But they really proved the world that what great personality they were/are.
Killing millions of innocent people is not fighting America. It's fighting nothing. American civilians have nothing to do with the government, mind you. A lot don't even like it. Hell, likely most.

Before you say America has attacked innocent people -- think about it. American troops are saving Iraqi people, not just shooting them or bombing them like Osama would. Killing America will solve nothing, and the world will only fill with more hatred. Against the law? Maybe, but the U.N. damn sure had no intentions of removing Saddam.

And if you don't want to be banned (and if I ban you, you won't be coming back), you need to lighten your tone. All of you...or both. You and Angel.

Please don't anyone confuse my post with me either supporting or denouncing the Iraq war. I can see both sides of the argument. What I said was, and remains, fact.

There is no "both sides". There is one side, Sadaam had to be dealt with. So what if there's no WMD's? He's a murderer, and he deserved to have to be found in a hole in the ground. He had 100's of palaces while his people starved. If they disobeyed him they were killed. Where do you get two sides from? How can anyone possibly think that shouldn't be stopped?

OZ, the opposite side of the argument is that it wasn't the USA/UK's place to deal with it without agreement from the UN, which is what happened. I fully understand and appreciate all the arguments, for both sides (as I said), but there are similar things going on all over the world.

For example, the recent troubles of white farmers in Zimbabwe. Did anyone feel the need to steam in there? No, they didn't. We've been through this before, so I'm not going to bother typing it all again. It's an isolated incident, for want of a better term. Someone needed to finish off what someone else didn't get done.

Well I agree that Saddam was an evil tyrant, and everyone knew that going in, why make up the lie, yes lie, about WMD? It just doesn't make sense. I'm sure people, would have supported it just as much, and we wouldn't all be looked upon as liers. Sure, you'd have the usual "you aren't the world's police" people, but unfortunantly as it can be at times, we are. This whole thing right now with Iraq proves it too: we're Keystone Cops. For the record, a good portion of people are and/or were against the war. Why kill people that agree with you about the war? What does that solve? I'm sorry, but this whole "holy war", it just doesn't make sense to me. Go back to your stone throwing, at least that's far less violent.

This Iraq thing...you can't honestly tell me the US government cares about the people killed under Saddams rule/the people that would've been killed.

Are we supposed to care? He's gone. That is the bottom line. Whther the government did it for the wrong reasons or the right ones, the outcome is the same, and the outcome harms less people.

No one has ever said if they have or not. It's, why do people judge the American people for what the American government does?
