Re: Who is the most biased poster in this forum?
I would have said DualShock but he comes off as less biased and more justifiably defensive, in regards to Russo. What's biased in that equation is people who go the distance to bash Russo, reaching as far as to blame him for things he had no part of and possessing a lack of understanding how the business works, all while portraying themselves as the smarkiest of smarks. Dude has done a lot of bad but everybody has. It's just that with Russo, people are trained to focus only on the bad, which is, cumulatively, only a fraction of his career.
In that respect, I totally feel where DualShock coming from. However, I can see why people would say he's biased because he tries to justify or excuse all of the bad Russo did and paints him as the perfect booker, when he was anything but. Still, he's not doing anything different than the average poster does for their favorite wrestler. In that respect, we're all biased to some degree. To his credit, he's not trying to rewrite history. To his discredit, too defensive.
But, the most biased posters are the diehard TNA marks in that cesspool of a section, simply because they hate for you to have a negative opinion on TNA and instantly label you as a troll, WWE sheep or cry to the staff about it. You'd think they were TNA employees with how they're so biased. To them, that company does nothing wrong and consistently puts on great TV, booking is GOAT and they actually draw, despite reports to the contrary.
And I'm pretty sure that section is filled with posts justifying how smart it is that a global company is using a northeast indie promotion to put themselves over. In what universe can Tommy Dreamer give anybody a rub?
It's pretty brutal TV and might have an occasional good moment but to that section, it's as perfect as can be and if you feel otherwise, all breaks loose.
