Not really. I will say that a college professor once told me that the Boston Tea Party was motivated by simple (and shady) economics rather than freedom. Supposedly Samuel Adams needed to eliminate his competition so they dumped the tea into Boston Harbor. That's all I remember. Take it for it's worth since I have no true sources and I'm not going to bother to look it up. Just a story I find funny if it's true.
