People are generally out on Boxing Day, whereas they're more likely to be home on Christmas Day.
I don't really have a resolution for BTB. Maybe it's because reading the work of others is something I find generally more enjoyable than writing my own (provided the work I'm reading is of a decent quality of course). I'd like to get to the end of next year with my current thread still going, I guess.
