Just over a week ago, we learnt that CM Punk will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match at No Mercy against Christian & Chris Jericho, and last night they all had their say on that match.

All three of them disagreed on who should be in that match, but Punk was adamant like Jericho in the opinion that Christian shouldn’t. The Straight-Edge Superstar even challenged Captain Charisma to a match next week in an attempt to prove that point. It was a challenge that Christian was only too happy to accept, meaning that two of the men who will compete for the world title in two weeks at No Mercy will collide live on Smackdown next Friday night.

You can guarantee that Jericho will be keeping a close eye on that contest, and make sure you do too when Christian goes up against the World Champion to prove he deserves the chance to fight for the world title.

It’s been over two months since Michelle McCool stabbed her then friend, Mickie James in the back when Mickie was just one match away from competing for the Diva’s Championship at The Great American Bash.

However next week they will clash for the chance to challenge Beth Phoenix, the eventual winner of the elimination series and the current Diva’s Champion. Mickie & Michelle have been at each other’s throats ever since their controversial eliminations in that series, and last night when Mickie was watching her boyfriend, Matt Sydal in action, McCool and her rookies, Alicia Fox & Rosa Mendes jumped her. Mickie needed some medical attention, and Tazz was quick to inform McCool that she & Mickie will go at it next week for a shot at The Glamazon.

Just who will prevail to take on the dominant Beth Phoenix at No Mercy? Tune in to Smackdown live next week to find out!
