Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Probably did not sell well at all so why bother bringing them in
Thought I would rank all of TNA's PPVs this year. I honestly don't think I would recommend one of them for the standard $35 ppv price but maybe some for DVD price
1) No Surrender (angle/hardy, dreamer/AJ, guns/bucks)
2) Victory Road (mcmg/beer money, lethal/flair, pope/angle)
3) Slammiversary (angle/kazarian, AJ/lethal, Doug/Kendrick)
4) lockdown (angle/Anderson, AJ/pope)
5) against all odds (AJ/Joe)
6) genesis (AJ/angle, Desmond/pope, red/Kendrick)
7) final resolution (Doug/AJ, guns/bucks)
8) sacrifice (Doug/kazarian, AJ/Rvd, guns/3G/beer money)
9) bound for glory (guns/bucks, angle/hardy/Anderson)
10) destination x (ladder, ultimate x)
11) hardcore justice (Rvd/sabu)
12) turning point (3D/guns)
Victory Road had a few very solid matches. Very slow first hour and a super anticlimactic main event but was overall fine.
NS had very little offensive stuff and had 3 good matches.
Slammy had a bad main event and 3 bad matches in a row towards the beginning but was fine
Didn't care much for lockdown but on rematch it was fine
Against all odds was a well booked tournament
Genesis had the super offensive Daniels/Morley match but nothing else on the show was too horrid
FR was ok until the final hour which was awful
Sacrifice was a boring show really
BFG was a total shit sandwich with two good pieces of bread and everything in-between being bad
Destination x had a fine first few matched but went downhill after the UX
Hardcore justice was a waste of time
Turning point had nothing besides one match
I'd honestly put the whole f'n show over mostly all of these. Not a good ppv year for TNA at all
