TNA Thursday Night Impact Preview
The Impact Zone, Orlando, Florida
June 17, 2010

Coming off the heels of Slammiversary VIII this past Sundaywhich ended on a shocking note, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling returns to Spike this Thursday for two hours of the best professional wrestling available on TV today!

The King of the Mountain Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship ended in controversy as none other than the loudmouth himself, Mr. Anderson, captured the gold! However, it came with help from Desmond Wolfe, 'The Tennessee Cowboy' James Storm and Matt Morgan who interfered in the match under the orders of 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair. This Thursday on Impact, we will hear from Flair and his three new associates with the world expecting answers, but is Anderson a part of this seemingly-new group? Even if he is, he might not still have the title for long because AJ Styles has decided to invoke his rematch clause this Thursday on Impact! Will a new Champion be crowned again?

The legendary and illustrious career of 'The Icon' Sting finally came to an end this past Thursday at Slammiversary, as he was defeated by the TNA Global Champion 'The Pope' D'Angelo Dinero. As one career ended, another one gained a monumental boost, and Dinero will look to continue his momentum this Thursday on Impact as he defends his title against Brian Kendrick! Can Pope hold onto the gold?

'The Tennessee Cowboy' James Storm will be in action against 'The Outlaw' Jethro Holliday, after Storm turned on his former tag team partner Robert Roode by smashing a beer bottle over his head moments after Roode defeated him, and then helped Mr. Anderson win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in the King of the Mountain Match later on in the night this past Sunday at Slammiversary!

The rivalry between Desmond Wolfe and Rob Van Dam has still not reached its end, after their Last Man Standing Match this past Sunday at Slammiversary resulted in a draw! With Wolfe now seemingly united with Ric Flair along with James Storm and Matt Morgan, we will get comments from RVD regarding the situation!

The 2010 World X Cup officially gets underway this Thursday, and it's going to be some tag team action! Team TNA's Amazing Red and Jay Lethal take on Team Japan's Kiyoshi and Okada, with both teams looking to gain two valuable points right off the bat!

We will hear comments from 'The Olympic Gold Medallist' Kurt Angle from this past Sunday at Slammiversary following the King of the Mountain Match! What did Angle have to say?

'Super Mex' Hernandez will square off against Shane Helms in one-on-one action, with Helms having come agonizingly close to winning the TNA X Division Championship from 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels in his first TNA singles match this past Sunday at Slammiversary and Hernandez having lost to his rival 'The Blueprint' Matt Morgan at the pay per view! Which man will get back on track with a victory?

Plus, The British Invasion face Generation Me in tag team action! See all of this and more this Thursday on Impact on Spike, at 9/8C!

Confirmed For Impact:
TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Mr. Anderson vs. AJ Styles
TNA Global Championship: D'Angelo Dinero vs. Brian Kendrick
James Storm vs. Jethro Holliday
Comments from Rob Van Dam
World X Cup: Team TNA (Amazing Red & Jay Lethal) vs. Team Japan (Kiyoshi & Okada)
Post-Slammiversary comments from Kurt Angle
Hernandez vs. Shane Helms
The British Invasion vs. Generation Me

I know it's only been three days since Slammiversary but hey, I'm just gonna keep going anyway and the next show is finished so why not?
