Re: WWE: A New Dawn

- At recent WWE House Show events, new and never-before-seen main events have been taking place for the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. This may be considered as WWE officials 'testing the water' for future Number One Contenders. It also may point to a decision not being made as to wether Cena or Jericho is going to win the Unification match this sunday at Unified. Here is a list of the competitors at recent events.

May 14th, Barrie, Ontario:
John Cena, Kofi Kingston & The Undertaker def. Chris Jericho, CM Punk & Drew Mcintyre

May 15th, Kingston, Ontario:
John Cena def. Drew Mcintyre
Chris Jericho def. CM Punk, Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston

May 16th, London, Ontario:
Chris Jericho def. Christian & The Undertaker
John Cena def.

- Vince McMahon and other high-profile officials are said to be happy with the current direction of the company. The budget crisis eariler in the year was not done for nothing, and Vince seems determined to do things his way and make the product 'edgier'. He believes the slow introduction of these themes into the product is working and is likely to continue until the line is stepped over.

- As an additional note to this point, it is rumoured that WWE Talent Agents have been looking further afield for who they recruit in the near future. Now unafraid to show ties to the less-marketable independent wrestling scene, companies such as TNA, ROH, Chikara and even as far afield as NJPW are apparently nervous that the WWE may be looking into signing their talents away from them.
