WWE Monday Night Raw Preview February 13th, 2006
This week Monday Night Raw rolls into Greensboro, North Carolina, on another action packed stop on the Road To Wrestlemania.
Last week Kurt Angle finally put an end to the bloody and very personal feud between himself and 'The Game' Triple H, when Angle successfully retained the WWE Championship in a hellacious battle. With that said, Kurt Angle must now look to Wrestlemania in just over a month, where he will meet John Cena for the WWE title. Cena and Angle have a dark history with one another, and Raw's General Manager Eric Bischoff is looking to stir that up right away, as he forces the old enemies to join forces in an epic tag team match against the recent allies of 'Da Bad Apple' Carlito and 'Mr. Money In The Bank' himself, Edge. Will Cena and Angle be able to co-exist for this Main Event, or will Cena be too distracted by the continuous mind games of the enigmatic Shawn Michaels?
One man who was not satisfied with the outcome of last week's WWE title match, was the man on the losing end, Triple H. Helmsley made his feelings perfectly clear after the match, when he gave the Special Guest Referee Rob Van Dam a brutal Pedigree right in the centre of the ring. Triple H has promised us an appearance this Monday Night, as has the man who appointed RVD to officiate, Eric Bischoff. Will we be left with the bitterness of these two men, or will Van Dam look to seek revenge for the attack last week?
Charlie Haas and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin will be in action also, but, you guessed it, they will be in tag team competition. The uneasy former partners this time team up with the veteran Chavo Guerrero take on the team of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, as well as their impressive partner, 'The Masterpiece' Chris Masters. Will Haas and Benjamin be able to stay on the same page after last week's defeat, or will the opportunistic trio of Cade, Murdoch and Masters take advanatge?
Eric Bischoff has also promised an end to this escalating business between young Gregory Helms and Bischoff's own nephew, Eugene. Bischoff has set up a No Diqualification match this week on Raw between the two, though what advantage this gives to Eugene remains to be seenm, as Helms looks to finally put away the fan favourite.
Look out for an appearance from the destructive Big Show this week also, as he has not been seen since destroying Kane two weeks ago backstage. Who will dare stand in his path?
We will have an update on the condition of 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair also.
Look out for apperances from the WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus, Matt Striker, Victoria, Goldust, the World Tag Team Champions the Spirit Squad, Mickie James, and many, many more. Monday Night Raw at 8/7 central on Monday night. Don't miss it; it's going to be a Raw to remember...
