Re: AMRocky25 Presents: WWE - The Future
This week on Smackdown, just five days removed from the pay per view, we will see the fallout from Unforgiven.
At Unforgiven we saw Edge do the impossible and retain his World Title. After a little help from his body guard The Great Khali, Edge was able to hit a Spear on Morrison and get the final pin in the match. After this victory, the Rated R Champion must be in a great mood. What lies ahead for the World Heavyweight Champion Edge?
Speaking of the World Title, General Manager Theodore Long will have a huge announcement on Smackdown. We are told that it will have something to do with the World Heavyweight Championship and our next pay per view No Mercy. The announcement is said to be revealed at the start of this week’s Smackdown. What will Theodore Long have in mind?
At Unforgiven, we saw the return of the “Phenom” the Undertaker. During Jericho and Kane’s match, the lights went out when Jericho had Kane in the Walls of Jericho. Kane took advantage of this and ended up winning after a Chokeslam to Jericho. After the match, the Undertaker came down to the ring for the first time since WrestleMania 25. Jericho yelled at and then slapped the Deadman. Undertaker answered with a forceful Tombstone Piledriver to the egocentric Jericho. We saw Jericho’s frustration later when he complained to our General Manager Theodore Long. After Long decided to do nothing, how will Jericho react to this?
And at Unforgiven, we saw a new Intercontinental Champion crowned as Shelton Benjamin defeated Rey Mysterio in what is being called a “classic match.” After the match was over, the new champion shook Mysterio’s hand out of a sign of respect. Are we not only seeing a new Intercontinental Champion but also a new Shelton Benjamin?
Tune into Friday Night Smackdown on My Network TV this week to find out the answers to all of these questions and more.
