Man, you got such better supporters then us. I wanted to see Weezer so bad. Have fun though, Blink was so awesome seeing live.

Anyways though, what I came in here to post. Just got home from the music festival I went to today and here is a quick rundown of the day I had.

First up was The Wet Secrets. We got there just as they were finishing up but the limited amount of people that were there were into them.

Next up was Uss. I was expecting a lot more from them. I like the songs I have of theirs on the radio but live they sounded pretty meh.

After that we had illScarlett. This was one of the acts I was looking forward to most and they did not disappoint at all. Interacted with the crowd well and mixed in some of there harder music with the reggae sound they play sometimes. Seeing them live actually made me like them a bit more which was great.

Up next was suppose to be Taking Back Sunday but I guess they missed their flight and were unable to make it. A lot of people were pretty bummed about this, especially the girls I went with as it was the band they were most looking forward to seeing.

Then we had my biggest surprise of the night, which was Girl Talk. To be honest, I was not expecting much from this guy at all. I did not really look into what he did at all and all I really knew that he was a DJ. As soon as one of his mixes started playing, the crowd went insane. Then he came out stood by the table with his computer on it and rocked out his ass off there for probably close to an hour. Also brought up close to 100 people up there to dance behind him. I was in the mosh pit for this one and it was insane.

Had two pretty meh acts after that, saying this just because I am not a huge fan of either. First up was Metric and they were horrible. The chick was horrible interacting with the crowd and I wanted to go up there when she was talking and tell her to shut up and get off the stage. Her voice came across not very good in there songs and the crowd did not seem to in to it.

Then we had Franz Ferdinand. I was not a fan going in but props to the group because they sounded pretty awesome. Played all there hits and had everyone into them. I stayed back for this one as the big one for me was next.

To close off my night was Alexisonfire. All I can say it was craziness. It was my first time close to the front and in the full fledged mosh pit. As soon as there first song hit it was insanity. People were body checking, pushing, yelling, singing, crowd surfing, among other things. I had a hard time just staying alive lol. Got to touch lots of hot girls asses as well during that

Closer was Billy Talent but we had to leave early because the drunk people I went with were tired...Pretty awesome day though, considering the bands I went for turned out better then I expected and Girl Talk turned out to be amazing.
