Last listened to Jay-Z- Vol.3. Uneven album, this was when people started to HATE Jay-Z. Possibly the most arrogant a rapper has ever sounded, he sounds very sincere in his arrogance. It's not like Rpyce Da 5'9 or some other clown rapping about bitches, money, and being the man, he's serious. Possibly the most swagged out album in hip hop history for that alone. Uneven and doesnt flow well but it has a lot of tracks I like. Intro, Some Like It Hot, So Ghetto, Come Get Me, Do It Again... and of course Big Pimpin is a timeless piece of music.
yo have u heard his second cd, shyne? mad slept on man, but it's hot. i had it years ago, something happened to it but i ordered it again yesterday. and i feel u croft, i know the game is digital now but i'll always stick with cd's. for one better quality, 2 u get more of a vibe and feel of what the artist is about it. it's like your reading a book vs a chapter then moving onto another book. o yea, i forgot to name the last album. guerilla maab- rise. z-ro's group back in the day. now i'm bout to take it way back and play first generation of rap cd. this shit got super rappin by furious 5, and the full 20 minute version of rappin and rockin the house by funky 4 + 1. also some treacherous 3... the best old school group, kool moe dee was a beast.
