The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking by Roger Waters
So this is the first real solo album by Roger Waters (for those of you who don't know who he is, he was the main singer|songwriter of Pink Floyd but if you don't know that you should jump of a bridge plz

). First I'd like to say, that I dislike Roger Waters, I dunno why, though. Probably because he sued the remaining Pink Floyd and me having a man crush on David Gilmour (as you can see in my sig). Oh and The Wall was choosen over this album to be Pink Floyd's 11th album, which was a great decision. I'm not saying that this album is bad but that The Wall was just
that good. This concept album is about a man in the mid-life crisis, fyi. It features Eric Clapton on the guitar. So Gilmour isn't missing that much. Somehow Clapton brings some blues in this album. Well, he's a blues-rock guitarist. This album doesn't have any real stand-out track, imo. You just have to listen to the whole album. My favourite tracks would be "Sexual Revolution", "Go Fishing", "The Pros and Cons Of Hitch Hiking" & "Every Stranger's Eyes". After I finished the album I immediately wanted more. So if you're a fan of progressive rock check it out. Actually everyone should listen to it. Great, imo.
Nice idea for a thread, Alex.
