Press Release for WrestleMania XXII Press Conference and More Notes:

On Wedensday, March 22, 2006, World Wrestling Entertainment in cooperation with the Reliant Stadium corporation will be holding the WrestleMania 22 press conference, in the Toyota Center in downtown Houston, Texas at 12 Noon ET. Scheduled to appear are the WWE Champion, Randy Orton, the Royal Rumble winner and Houston's own Booker T, the World Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels, and the challenger the legendary Bret Hart, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, and many more. Doors open up at 11:30 AM ET!

Big Note: Sunday Night Heat will begin at 5:30 PM ET, and will be a special 90minute edition, with the possiblity of one or even two matches being shown there.

It has been announced that Shinedown will open the show most likely with "I Dare You"!

Despite possible rumors, the WWE Championship Match (Orton/Booker T) will be the final match on the card!

Carlito and Chris Masters' match is being looked at as a possible opener for the event.

Tickets for WWE's next PPV, Backlash which will be a Smackdown PPV, will go on sale on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Pepsi Center box office. Backlash will be presented live, Sunday April 23, 2006 from the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. The event is brought to you by WWE Mobile Service!
