Booker T vs. Mike Awesome - This was a good main event and made Awesome have a purpose or being in the Jarrett/Steiner faction. Flair and Anderson coming out was very old school.

Overall, 7/10. Not one of your best but this is still the best new thread I have seen in months.
Thanks for posting some of your negatuves to the show. I shall try and clear things up.

~Lex Luger and Sting are best friends, so Luger is going to get some wins over his opponents. In this case, him and Buff will get the wins. Plus, they're veterans of the company, they deserve some form of a "push". O'Haire and Palumbo are lacking, and need some creative direction. Until then, job duty it may seem.

~I had Hugh vs. Rick to give Hugh a solid win, and let it be known Rick as no affliation whatsoever with Scott, Midajah, or the faction, since he was previously aligned with Steiner and Midajah. He sucked at Slamboree, so now he jobs for it. And for Lance and Hugh... the two have been feuding for a while now. Why wouldn't Lance want to cheap shot Hugh whenever he can?

~Yepp, Mike Awesome is the shit me thinks. Great talent, and can be a great enforcer, which he proved here. Arn and Ric coming out just show that the old son bitches still got a fight in them. I would love to have Arn wrestle in this feud, but realistically, it just can't happen.

~Only having six segments to deal with, it is hard to string together solid shows while building storylines. I believe I am doing the best I can to develop the storylines, while still having interesting segments to the show, and trying to keep it in an hour length. No worries though, i should be back up to primeitme after Souled Out, giving me the opprotunity to be more creative and unique with Nitro's.

~The next Nitro is almsot done. I'm going to try and get the preview up within the next 10 minutes before I go out. If I do, I'll just edit it in here.

WCW Wednesday Nitro Preview- August 1, 2001

World Championship Wrestling will host its fourth edition of Wednesday Nitro on NBC this Wednesday night at 10 PM EST from the Freedom Hall, in Louisville, Kentucky! Join “The Voice of WCW” Tony Schiavone and “The Professor” Mike Tenay for another action-packed hour of World Championship Wrestling action!

Last week, Jeff Jarrett, Mike Awesome, and Scott Steiner struck again. The three men viciously attacked Booker T, and almost rendered him unconscious after Awesome put Booker T through the announcer’s table in their scheduled match-up. When all hope seemed lost, The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, and The Enforcer, Arn Anderson, came running down to the rescue with steel chairs. This week, WCW President Eric Bischoff has booked a 2 on 3 handicap match, featuring Booker T and Ric Flair versus Jeff Jarrett, Mike Awesome, and Scott Steiner. This match was requested by Arn Anderson and Ric Flair, who look to take it to the three men trying to gain power and control in the company. Can Awesome, Jarrett, and Steiner gain a valuable victory over Booker and Flair? Or will Booker T and The Nature Boy be able to fight the odds and win the battle tonight? Find out on Wednesday Nitro!

Also, the number one contendership for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship will be up for grabs tonight in a fatal four way match! The winner of the match will take on current champion “Sugar” Shane Helms at the next Pay Per View, Souled Out, on August 26. The four men participating in the match will be two-time champion Chavo Guerrero Jr., who lost the belt to Helms, former 3 Count member Shannon Moore, Lash Leroux, and Yung Dragon member Kaz Hayashi. This will be a fast and exciting match up that you won’t want to miss! Also on Nitro, the Filthy Animals, Billy Kidman and Konnan, take on the Mamalukes, Big Vito and Johnny The Bull! All this, plus appearances by Eric Bischoff, Arn Anderson, Lance Storm, and much, much more! Be sure to check out WCW Wednesday Nitro this Wednesday night, at 10 PM, only on NBC!

Confirmed Match:

Booker T & Ric Flair vs. Jeff Jarrett, Mike Awesome, & Scott Steiner
Filthy Animals vs. The Mamalukes
Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Kaz Hayashi vs. Lash Leroux vs. Shannon Moore
