Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Smackdown Preview for Friday February 3, 2006

Tonight, Friday Night Smackdown is going to be an huge night with the newest superstar to the roster and the current World-Heavyweight Champion, Edge, appearing tonight. This past Sunday, Edge attacked Batista after the Triple Threat Match and picked up the title before heading out hiding from Batista. Then Monday night, Edge defended his World-Heavyweight Championship against Triple H to which Edge won via DQ. Afterwards, Batista attacked Edge from behind for revenge, what will they have in store for each other tonight?

Also, the situation between three men, Booker T, Chris Benoit, and the United States Champion, Rey Mysterio has been heating up recently. Booker T eliminated Benoit during the Royal Rumble match and would go on to celebrate and taunt Benoit on the outside. Mysterio and Booker brawled for a little bit but the champ was put out before Booker T. For weeks, these three men have been going at it and what will happen tonight?

Randy Orton came so close to delivering what he said he would do and that was win the Royal Rumble. Orton was the last man before he was eliminated by Rob Van Dam. Orton certainly won't take this very good and he has declared that he will take this out on somebody on Smackdown? Who could this person be?

And finally, MNM were able to retain their tag titles at the Royal Rumble over Paul London and Brian Kendrick. London went for the 450 Splash but missed and Mercury and Nitro capitalized nailing the Snapshot for the win. However, London and Kendrick are not through with the champs and tonight they will prove that as they team together to face Kid Kash and the Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble. Can London and Kendrick get back onto the road for the #1 Contendership?
