Default Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Raw Preview for Monday January 23, 2006

With the Royal Rumble only six days away, things are sure to pick up and it begins tonight with the main event in a Handicap Match as John Cena takes on the WWE Champion, Kurt Angle, and Daivari. Last week, Angle was the special referee and almost cost Cena the match against Daivari but Cena took Angle out of the equation and Cena made Daivari tapout to the STFU, this week Angle has guaranteed revenge and will he get it or will Cena come out on top once more?

Last week, Edge debuted his new talk show, the Cutting Edge and it sure was a intresting show. Edge's guest was none other than "Mr. Monday Night" Rob Van Dam and both men had things to say. They shared their minds on each other and in the end, both ended up in a brawl and Mr. McMahon announced that it will be Edge vs RVD, which man will walk away with a win giving them the momentum at Royal Rumble?

Speaking of Mr. McMahon, he certainly is not a happy man after the results of what went down last week. McMahon was asking for an apology from Stone Cold Steve Austin to Eric Bischoff and Stone Cold apologized, then apologized to McMahon but what Mr. McMahon didn't know was why was he apologizing, well turns out Stone Cold nailed the Stunner on Mr. McMahon and that's why he apologzied, what will Mr. McMahon have to say about this?

Last week after being screwed out of the Intercontinental title once, Ric Flair took on Carlito and the Intercontinental Champion, Chris Masters came out and interfered costing Flair the match. Afterwards Carlito and Masters would beat down on Flair until Shelton Benjamin made the save and Carlito and Masters ran off, this week it will be the young lions of Carlito and Chris Masters taking on Shelton Benjamin and Ric Flair, will Flair get his revenge before the Royal Rumble?

Finally, last week Mickie James took on Victoria in women's action and the Women's Champion, Trish Stratus, tried to stop interfering from the behalf of Torrie Wilson and Candice but Trish went into the ring for the Chick Kick on Victoria but Trish accidentaly hit Mickie James in the process! This week, Trish and Mickie will team up to take on Torrie Wilson and Victoria, can they put last week in the past and focus on this week?

For all of this and more and last minute updates on the Royal Rumble, tune into Monday Night Raw live this Monday from Little Rock, Arkansas with only six days until the Royal Rumble!
