Default Re: Being The Booker

Couple of points to make quickly;
- There was only really six matches on Raw, the seventh was the tag title match that never happened. I get the point though and the concerns raised. You wont be seeing too many seven match Raws.

- Regal is a face at this moment in time, not a heel.

- Cenas contract is no longer on the line. It was only when he faced Lesnar to get the shot.

(No rumours this week, but a few wwe.com bits)

WWE.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Over this past weekend, another huge match has been added to the SuperBrawl card; Tyson Tomko vs The 2007 Royal Rumble winner Christian ... In an I QUIT MATCH. The two former friends will do battle next Saturday night on the first ever Saturday PPV in WWE history, following Tomkos brutal assault on his former friend last week in England, joining the McMahon Family Empire. And, at the request of Tomko, Eric Bischoff has made this an I Quit Match. Can Tomko actually force Captain Charisma to mutter the words ... I Quit??
Christian is still in hospital in the United Kingdom, but he has promised to defy the doctors orders and return in time for SuperBrawl to gain revenge on the man who turned his back on him last week.

Meanwhile, Shannon Moore has been released from his Smackdown contract. The WWE family wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Raw Preview:

After a blistering tour of the United Kingdom last week, the superstars of Raw have landed back in the United States, and the road to WrestleMania continues in earnest in Albany this Monday night.

With SuperBrawl looming this coming Saturday, could this be the last time Triple H walks into Raw as World Heavyweight Champion?? He defends his title this Saturday in a 60 minute Iron Man Match against his long term adversary, John Cena. Triple H has promised to address John Cena and his choice of match for SuperBrawl on Raw. What will the ten times world champion have to say ahead of his final battle with Cena??

Whilst Triple H will be doing the talking, John Cena will be in action, as he takes on Triple H's soon to be (for the second time) brother-in-law, Shane McMahon. Will Cena send his own message to The Game through Shane?? Or have the McMahon Family Empire got an ace up their sleeve??

Meanwhile, last weeks 'Ace' saw Tyson Tomko dump his long time friend, Christian and join the McMahon Family Empire. This week, we will find out what drove Tomko to turn his back on his friend, and link up with the bitter enemies of Captain Charisma. Christian is still in hospital in England, but he will return on Saturday for the I Quit Match at SuperBrawl.

It will be take two for the World Tag Team Championship Match this week, following the postponment in England after MNM came down with 'food poisoning'. However, the jury is out on the legitimacy of that illness, after the tag team champions were able to later help Melina retain her womens title against Alexis Laree. Straight Edge though, didnt allow MNM to get away unscathed, getting a piece of Nitro and Mercury last week. This week in Albany, MNM must face the music, and finally go one on one with Helms and Punk.

Finally, Mick Foley, after months of uncertainty will reveal his motives behind his actions. What has gotten into the Hardcore Legend?? And what is his real reasons for targeting The Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. Why did he screw Michaels at the Survivor Series, and why did he help to eliminate The Showstopper from the Royal Rumble?? Finally, the answers will be revealed on Raw.

Last week, Umaga became the first man on Raw to qualify for the second Money in the Bank ladder match. M.V.P on Smackdown became the second qualifier, and this week on Raw either the veteran Finlay, or the second generation rookie, DH Smith will join them. Will youth overcome experience?? Or will the veteran brush aside the youngster??

And, with the first ever Super-Brawl this Saturday, Smackdowns Kane will make a rare appearance on Raw, taking on the leader of the New Wave, Randy Orton. Both men will be part of the six man multi elimination match this coming weekend, and this match will be a great morale booster for the winner.

Confirmed Matches;
John Cena vs Shane McMahon
Finlay vs DH Smith
Randy Orton vs Kane
