Default Re: WWE - Current BTB

ECW starts as always with the theme and fireworks.

Match 1

DJ Gabriel does his little dance number with Alicia Fox as a local competitor waits in the ring. The match starts and as to be expected, Gabriel destroys the competitors, capping a fairly quick match with his turnbuckle uppercut.

Winner: DJ Gabriel, who performs another dance routine with Alicia Fox. Tommy Dreamer interrupts the routine, however.
Dreamer: Is this what ECW has come to? The house of hardcore now wastes its time with previews of High School Musical? This is disgusting, absurd and disrespectful to myself and all of the other extremists who have shed so much blood to make this show what it is. Teddy Long, I know you and I know you want what is best for this show. So I give you my warning. If you don’t stop this crap from continuing, I’ll do it for you.

Dreamer exits leaving Gabriel and Alicia looking at each other with stunned looks on their faces.

Match 2:

Orton enters the arena, flanked by his cohorts. He takes the mic and says that he agrees with Dreamer. ECW is pathetic and he plans on spending as little time as he can there. Evan Bourne’s theme plays and hopeful cheers are heard throughout the arena. He and Orton start the match by walking in circles. Orton debilitates Bourne by putting him in a submission hold, employing the same strategy as Rhodes did on Raw. Bourne escapes the hold and gains the upper hand, but his momentum is halted by Orton who kicks him in the gut as he attempted to launch himself via the ropes. He carries Bourne until only his feet touch the ropes and delivers his devastating DDT. He goes for the pin but Bourne kicks out. Orton methodically stomps on Bourne, who reverses one and trips Orton, he then delivers several dropkicks and other highflying moves before going to the turnbuckle. He goes for the shooting star press, but Manu pushes Orton out of the way. Orton recuperates first and stalks Bourne, jumping up and down like a maniac, his mouth frothing, and hits Bourne with an RKO.

Winner: Randy Orton. Orton taunts the crowd and starts to leave. Before he does, however, Hornswoggle comes out from bellow the ring, jumping up and down, and circles the Legacy like a hyper bunny-rabbit. Hornswoggle signals that he wants to become a part of the Legacy. Orton smirks and walks off without paying Hornswoggle more attention, who hesitates before following them out.

Match 3:

Morrison and the Miz enter, carrying their titles and Slammy. They boast in front of the crowd before Finlay enters, accompanied by a saddened, pitiful Hornswoggle. The ‘Greatest Tag Team of the Century’ mock the Irishmen, as Ricky Ortiz’s theme plays and he comes on, as well. The match begins with the Miz against Ortiz, and the two lock in the middle of the ring. The Miz takes Ricky to his corner, where he and Morrison take charge. Ortiz finally gains the upper hand, and tags Finlay in. Finlay dominates before the Miz distracts both he and the ref, allowing Morrison to get a cheap shot in. Ortiz, outraged, yells at the ref, but this only further distracts him, and the duo beat Finlay. Finally, Finlay manages to hit the duo, and tags Ortiz in. Ortiz builds momentum quickly, and is about to hit the Big O, but Morrison rolls away from danger. Morrison goes for his neckbreaker, but it is reversed by Ortiz, who pushes him away. He stops watching Morrison, however, and pays for it when he gets hit with a superkick. Morrison gets the pin as Finlay looks on, helpless.

Winners: The Miz and Morrison. The tag team taunt their opponents before taking their titles and award and exiting, leaving the disgruntled losers in the ring.

Matt Hardy’s theme plays and he enters the ring, where Tony Chimel is waiting for him. The ECW champion is asked about his thoughts regarding his brother’s Armageddon win, and Matt praises Jeff enormously, claiming that is a historical moment in the WWE for the two to hold two world titles. Kozlov’s theme plays, and sure enough Kozlov walks down the ramp, and enters the ring. Matt stands his ground, but Kozlov overpowers him, finally hitting him with his uranage chokeslam. Kozlov takes the mic. In what can barely be described as English, he says that Matt has yet to truly pay for costing him the title shot, and that he will make sure that he pays the price.
