Monday Night RAW; April 21st, 2008; Rosemount, Illinois

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the usual video package when it finishes the camera focuses on the stage area where we are greeted with a beautiful pyrotechnic display. The crowd begin to boo instantly as the music of JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD hits and he makes his way to the ring in his white stretch limo. His driver gets out and opens the door for him, JBL makes his way to the ring and asks for a microphone and is given one.
The crowd continue booing but JBL ignores them and starts talking regardless of the booing. He says that two weeks ago Randy Orton attacked him because he knew that JBL "The Wrestling God" proved the biggest threat to his title. The crowd begin to boo as JBL smirks, he continues by saying he wants redemption - And he's gonna' get it.
He says that he has to pick a segregate so he says he has already chosen his...Himself he smirks and then demands for Randy Orton come out and name his segregate. JBL and the fans wait anxiously for someone to come out...And someone does...But it's not Randy Orton - no....It's RAW General Manager, WILLIAM REGAL....The crowd boo the RAW GM and he looks at the fans in disgust. He informs JBL that Randy Orton is too hurt to be out here tonight to name who he would have chosen to be his segregate. JBL looks pissed as does the fans BUT William Regal says he knows who Orton would have chosen...SHAWN MICHAELS! JBL looks even more pissed off as the crowd cheer.

In the first match of the night CARLITO takes on HARDCORE HOLLY. HH is looking for a win over the Carribean bad ass as his partner Cody Rhodes was beat last week by Santino. 'Lito dominates some stages of the match but HH manages to put him away with the Alamaba Slam @ 8:35
After the match SANTINO MARRELLA runs down the ramp he slides into the ring and mouths off a HH allowing Carlito to get back up and hit the BACKCRACKER! 'Lito and Santino do a beatdown on the Veteran before his partner CODY RHODES runs down the ramp to his aid, Santino and 'Lito scatter from the ring.

MR. KENNEDY comes to the ring recieving boos from the crowd, he has a smug look on his face as he enters the ring and recieves his microphone from up above. He seems comfortable on the microphone as he begins to talk about how last year HE SHOULD HAVE BECAME CHAMPION but he was robbed of his money in the bank briefcase by EDGE the crowd instantly boo at the mention of the 'Rated R Superstar'. He says at Backlash he WILL win back the money in the bank briefcase and teases that he isn't going to till Wrestlemania 25 to cash it in.

In the second match of the night KK takes on Murdoch, Kennedy dominates the match with Murdoch getting in little to no offense on the loudmouth. KK hits the Greenbay Plunge on Murdoch before finishing him off with the Mic-Check @ 4:21

A video airs promoting the WWE Annual Draft which is set to be held on the second RAW after Backlash { 5th May, 2008 }.

Another video follows showing highlights of the career of JEFF HARDY it says "JEFF HARDY RETURNING TO RAW...SOON"

Backstage Todd Grisham is standing by with JBL, he asks JBL why he chose himself to be his segregate, JBL says that he is a 'Wrestling God' and that he is the best man to get the job done, he lays into Orton saying that he thought he would have chose himself also, but Orton is too much of a coward. Todd tries to defend Orton telling JBL that Orton is too hurt to be here, JBL looks at him and walks off.

In the third 'match' of the night The Big Show takes on a much, much, much smaller Super Crazy. Not one to be put down Super Crazy immediately runs at The Big Show and starts hitting him with kicks, punches, everything he can think of. The Big Show doesn't even flinch and it doesn't look like it's hurt him at all. He dismantles Super Crazy and hits him with The Showstopper for the win @ 1:44

John Cena is backstage and is speaking with Maria who is staring at his eyes smiling, he says did you see what I did last week? Maria nods as Cena smiles feeling proud of himself. He tells Maria that they should 'have some coffee later tonight' Maria smiles and agrees. Snitsky walks into view and stares at Cena, he says he wants Cena in a match tonight, Cena nods accepting it, Snitsky smiles and promises to bring pain to Cena.

In the fourth match of the night Cryme Tyme take on The Highlanders; Robbie and Rory McAllister. The Highlanders haven't been on RAW for awhile but still don't look rusty one bit, getting quite abit of offense in on Cryme Tyme. The finish comes when Robbie is knocked out of the ring by a clothesline from JTG (which also takes him out of the ring). Shad knocks Rory to the floor with a clothesline and awaits the Scotsman to get up when he does he is greeted with a BIG BOOT which gives Cryme Tyme the win @ 9:52

We see Todd Grisham again for the second time tonight and he is standing alongside Santino Marrella and Carlito. Santino snatches the microphone and gestures for Todd to go away. Santino looks into the microphone and tells 'Holly Hardcore' and Cody Rhodes that they want shots at the Tag team titles next week on RAW! Carlito grabs the microphone off of Santino and 'Lito says that don't worry they don't need to make a decision as Regal already did earlier. He smiles and says he'll see them in the ring next week.

We go to the commentary desk where JR and King run down the card for next weeks RAW (following RAW after Backlash) they announce matches such as Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly vs. Carlito & Santino {World Tag Team Championship Match} and matches such as A battle royal for the Womens Championship!

In the fifth match of the night one half of the Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes takes on the son of the British Bulldog, DH Smith. Cody seems more worried about his title match next week then this match he has now, as DH Smith manages to dominate. But the finish comes when Cody manages to hit a surprise DDT for the win @ 7:21

SmackDown! Rebound

~ It shows MVP's, V.I.P Lounge where him and Matt Hardy brawled before Chavo Guerrero helped MVP. {It then shows Vickie making the handicap match for this week}
~ It then shows Umaga coming to ringside with AAE and then beating The Big Show.
~ It then shows AAE announcing Umaga has ****ed ECW!!
~ It shows SmackDown's main event {Batista vs. 'Taker} it shows Batista spearing the referee by mistake it then shows the tombstone delivered by 'Taker, then it shows Edge spearing 'Taker and dragging Batista over 'Taker's body.

In the sixth match of the night Melina takes on Jillian. Jillian tries to sing but Melina punches her to stop her (much to the happiness of the fans) Melina dominates most of the match and hits the Extreme Makeover on Jillian for the win @ 5:08

William Regal is walking along the corridors backstage and he looks around behind him, carrying on walking he accidentally bumps into a pissed looking Triple H. Regal apologizes and HHH says it doesn't matter, he has something more important to talk to Regal about. He demands Regal replaces him with HBK so he can face JBL! Regal refuses to do it as HHH looks pissed, BUT Regal says HE WILL ADD HUNTER TO THE MATCH!

In the seventh match of the night John Cena takes on Snitsky. It's a tight match with both men getting in offense. Cena however manages to finish off the yellow teethed monster with the F-U followed by the STFU for the submission victory @ 7:23

When we return to the ring, the props for the Highlight Reel are already up with a smug Chris Jericho standing in the ring, he gets straight to the point talking about how last week all the Jerichoholics seen him retain HIS Intercontinental Championship against Carlito AND Paul Burchill, he then says that brings us to my guest tonight...Paul Burchill comes to the ring recieving quite abit of boos from the crowd.
Jericho says Paul I know you might be a little pissed off that you couldn't get the job done last week but - Jericho doesn't get to finish as Paul Burchill hits him with a punch bringing Jericho to the floor in surprise. Jericho looks up at Burchill who smirks and picks up Jericho's microphone and says I want a damn rematch for the Intercontinental Championship! He starts kicking away at Jericho who eventually fends him off and they continue to brawl with Jericho seeming to get the upper hand. Security guards rush to the ring to stop the men.

In the main event we see Number #1 Contender, Shawn Michaels take on a pissed JBL AND Triple H. HHH and JBL seemed to brawl with one another as HBK just looks on not seeming to bothered with them tiring themselves out. JBL manages to get the upperhand and throws HHH outta' the ring. Him and HBK then start fighting. This continues for quite a while with nobody looking to have a advantage. A finish does come however when JBL manages to surprise HHH with a Clothesline From Hell {the 2nd in 2 weeks} HBK then seizes the opportunity and nails JBL with some Sweet Chin Music for the win @ 15:12

Shawn Michaels music hits as he celebrates in the ring, he looks at the camera knowing that WWE Champion; Randy Orton would be watching at home, he gestures that soon enough the title will be around HIS waist.
