It's a shame Stella is sold pretty much everywhere because there are a few better beers right here. Jupiler still owns everything. Does anyone know: 'Van Vledeteren'? It's officialy the best beer in the world, brewed in a monastery, but VERY limited. Only a few pubs in Belgium and some other in the rest of Europe sell it. It's like 15€ for one, but it's worth the price.

From my experience from visiting breweries, it's better if they don't get distributed too far.
Having drunk beers like Marston's Smooth at the brewery, i can tell it's 10 times better there than any pub, and then 50 times more than a canned one.
It's better to keep beers like them limited to a few close by places and have people who appreciate them go there for them. Spread them out and the quality drops fast (transportation, storage etc)
