Re: WWE; The Alternative Route
Mr.R Presents...
WWE RAW!
WWE; The Alternative Route
WWE Raw begins with a lengthy video package, recapping last night's Judgment Day. The video package incudes highlights of Triple H retaining the WWE Championship after defeating Randy Orton and Chris Jericho in a triple-threat match, and John "Bradshaw" Layfield overcoming Mr. Kennedy. The Judgment Day theme song, "Take It All", is playing in the background
**To Be Loved** The Raw opening video package begins, as the pyrotechnics explode from the High-Definition set, and the camera pans the packed-out Quicken Loans Arena, before crossing over to Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler at the announce table
Jim Ross: Ladies and gentlemen across the world, welcome to Monday Night Raw, live from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio! Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler at ringside, and we are less than 24 hours removed from what was an undoubtedly epic event in Judgment Day!
Jerry Lawler: It sure was, JR, and if you didn't see Judgment Day, Triple H, The Game, retained the WWE Championship against Randy Orton and Chris Jericho! And tonight, Raw General Manager, and c0-owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, William Regal has a huge announcement to make regarding the #1 contendership to the WWE Championship!
Jim Ross: And speaking of William Regal, Regal is allegedly going to reveal how he brought 50% of World Wrestling Entertainment! What could Regal's motives possibly be, King?
Jerry Lawler: I have no idea, JR, but you can always expect a big surprise with the Raw General Manager! What will Mr. McMahon think of this?
**Time To Play The Game** A relaxed-looking WWE Champion Triple H strides down the rampway, getting an overwhelming ovation from the audience in the Quicken Loans Arena
Triple H: ...I stand before you still your WWE Champion, and now that I remain at the pinnacle of the World Wrestling Entertainment, like I always have, and always will...It's time to play the game!
Huge pop for Triple H, and chants of "Triple H! Triple H!" break out
Triple H: Last night at Judgment Day, I defied the odds, and I effectively defeated not just Chris Jericho and Randy Orton...But I also beat John Cena
Pop for John Cena, but some boos can be heard, scattered around the audience
Triple H: Look, I know John Cena seemingly handed me the match by taking out Randy Orton, but I know why John did that
Triple H walks toward the camera, and glares through the lens
Triple H: You didn't think I could come out on top, did you, Cena? You know, I can understand why you think of me that why, John, I really do. I'm not the one you should be doubting, John...It's you
Mixed reaction at Triple H's remarks
Triple H: We all know how you feel, not being able to compete for the WWE Championship at Judgment Day, anybody who was in your position would feel exactly the same way as you do. But John, William Regal's decision not to include you in the match, as a competitor at least, was for your own good...What we do, it's a dangerous game, and people can get hurt. I have to admit, Randy Orton and Chris Jericho, they earned their oppurtunity at the WWE Championship, but you didn't think of it that way, did you?
Another significant mixed response
Triple H: The fact that you're John Cena and you're a 4-time WWE Champion shouldn't make you think that you should step into the ring with guys like me. I respect that you're a highly-rated WWE Superstar, Cena, but you should respect that I am the WWE Champion, and that I can take you out any time, any place!
Big pop for Triple H's aggresive response
Triple H: I am aware that William Regal has an announcement to make regarding the #1 contendership for my WWE Championship. What Willy has to say doesn't bother me, but Willy sure as hell isn't going to give you the oppurtunity to challenge me...Spare yourself the embarassment of challenging me, John, because I'm gonna be WWE Champion for a long time, and I sure as hell am not going to give this Title up that easily!
Big pop for the King of Kings
Triple H: I have to admit, Randy Orton's at the front of the waiting line for a shot at my WWE Title, because it was you, John, who gave him less of a chance of winning than he already had...Which is of course, a scarcity
Faint laughter from the Quicken Loans Arena
Triple H: John, should you have the sheer audacity to think that you're deserving of a WWE Title shot against me...I'm gonna beat some sense into you, the only way I know I can, and that is-
"I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD. THEY COME TO ME, THEY UNDERSTAND, THEY TALK TO ME!!"
**Voices** A disgruntled looking Randy Orton emerges from the curtain to heat from the audience, and Randy Orton trudges toward the ring, as Triple H stares a hole through the Legend Killer
Randy Orton: (Smirking) Hunter, Hunter, Hunter...Don't waste your time on John Cena, he's not worth the anxiety...But somebody who you should be worried about is me
Mixed response for Randy Orton, who nods his head at the audience
Randy Orton: Like you said earlier, John Cena cost me the WWE Championship, and it was, quite frankly, all because John Cena's ego got the better of him, like it always has, and always will...As far as you, I, and all of these WWE fans know, John Cena was never an adequate challenger for the WWE Championship, and now, Hunter...I'm the true #1 contender
Lots of heat directed at the One-Man Dynasty
Randy Orton: To be honest, I couldn't care less about what William Regal has to say...Regal is a smart man, and he knows as well as anybody that I am the only Superstar that can lead by example here on Monday Night Raw, so Regal's going to make the most obvious decision of his career, and announce me as #1 contender
**Promenade** William Regal enters the Quicken Loans Arena to tons of heat, and looks on disapprovingly at Randy Orton and Triple H
William Regal: Gentlemen, please...The two of you are using up precious air time un-neccessarily, so I feel that it is only in the best interests of Monday Night Raw that I clear up the situation of the #1 contender to the WWE Championship right now
Mixed response, as the audience wait in anticipation as to what William Regal has to say
William Regal: I am aware that the vast majority of WWE Superstars deem themselves worthy contenders to the WWE Championship, so after almost an entire day's worth of thought, I have come up with a perfect idea as to how this issue can be resolved
Another mixed response
William Regal: Tonight, WWE Raw will see five qualifying matches...the winners of these matches will advance to a 5-man Battle Royal, and the winner will face you, Triple H, at One Night Stand, in a match stipulation that I will reveal the contents of, next week
**Promenade** To a mixed response, William Regal exits the Quicken Loans Arena, as Triple H and Randy Orton have a staredown
Jim Ross: What an announcement from William Regal, by the end of tonight, we will know the #1 contender to the WWE Championship!
Jerry Lawler: We will also know the Main Event of One Night Stand, JR, most people despise of William Regal, but Regal can pull out some mind-blowing announcements!
**COMMERCIAL BREAK**
~MATCH 1~
Winner Advances To 5-Man Battle Royal Tonight

CM Punk clotheslines a groggy Umaga over the ringropes and down to the concrete floor, and CM Punk climbs to the top turnbuckle. Umaga gets to his feet, which gives the thumbs-up for CM Punk to leap through the air, and take down Umaga with a cross body! Both CM Punk and Umaga lie motionless on the concrete floor, as the audience in the Quicken Loans Arena look on in concern, and the two competitors get to their feet and re-enter the ring only moments before the 10-count is complete. CM Punk and Umaga slug it out, exchanging blows, but Umaga manages to get in consecutive right hands, and irish whips CM Punk against the ropes. CM Punk tries to retaliate with a cross body, but Umaga catches CM Punk in mid-air, and lays out CM Punk with a side slam! Umaga hooks the leg of CM Punk, hoping to advance to the 5-man Battle Royal tonight,

......It's not over! CM Punk kicks out!
Umaga glares at the referee Marty Elias, and drags CM Punk into the corner of the ring, resting CM Punk's skull on the middle turnbuckle. Umaga backs into the opposite corner of the ring, and screams in Samoan, before charging at CM Punk. However, Umaga fails to connect with the Samoan wrecking ball, but CM Punk moves out of the way, as Umaga crashes into the set of turnbuckles. Umaga groggily approaches the corner of the ring, and CM Punk lays out Umaga with a roundhouse kick! Umaga falls to the mat, as CM Punk taunts the Samoan Bulldozer, getting a good reaction. CM Punk gets Umaga to his feet, but Umaga suddenly grabs CM Punk by the head. Umaga pulls the trigger on the Samoan spike, but CM Punk dodges the bullet, and then hoists Umaga onto his shoulders. Before CM Punk can collapse under Umaga's weight, CM Punk connects with the Go To Sleep somehow, and covers the Samoan Bulldozer, hooking the leg,

......3! CM Punk advances to tonight's Main Event!
**This Fire Burns** CM Punk has his hand raised by referee Marty Elias, and the Straight-Edge Superstar celebrates his victory with his Money In The Bank briefcase, as Umaga slams his fists at the canvas in frustration
The camera switches backstage, where William Regal is sitting in his office, getting tons of heat. John "Bradshaw" Layfield walks in, getting a negative reaction also. JBL is sporting a bandage over his forehead, covering a wound from JBL's match against Mr. Kennedy last night at Judgment Day
John "Bradshaw" Layfield: Mr. Regal, let me start by giving you my endorsement for this tournament you have organised tonight, but to be honest, it really isn't neccessary... As you and these people witnessed last night, after I anialated that loud-mouthed bastard Mr. Kennedy, I am the only induvidual in World Wrestling Entertainment, let alone WWE Raw, that is deserving of a WWE Championship oppurtunity
Heat for the self-proclaimed Wrestling God
William Regal: I would agree, JBL, but I'm afraid that if I were to single-handedly award you an oppurtunity at the WWE Championship, then it would cause unrest in the locker room, as well as the Board of Directors...It is my duty, as the General Manager, King of the Ring and the co-owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, that I maintain an equal level of morale amongst my company, and give everybody a fair chance...I know that the majority of the roster isn't worthy of a Championship oppurtunity...
Major heat in response to William Regal's remarks
William Regal: But I have to do what is in the best interest of the World Wrestling Entertainment. You do understand where I'm coming from, don't you, JBL?
John "Bradshaw" Layfield: Of course, Mr. Regal. It's a case of when, not if, I make it to One Night Stand, that I, once again, become the WWE Champion, so I couldn't care less how I make it to One Night Stand. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can stand in my way of regaining what is well and truly mine. Get the record books out, people, because John "Bradshaw" Layfield is-
JBL suddenly turns his head toward the door of William Regal's office, as an also bandaged-up Mr. Kennedy walks into the room, and stares directly into JBL's eyes
Mr. Kennedy: I could have sworn there was a washed-up has-been in here, and I guess I wasn't wrong. I would say it's good ol' Willy Regal, but I'm not ready to give up my job just yet, so that leaves me with one alternative option...What a surprise, it's John "Bradshaw" Layield! Hey buddy, how goes it?
Laughter at Mr. Kennedy's obvious sarcasm
Mr. Kennedy: So, how was your Sunday night? Oh yeah, you cheated your way into a victory over me! And that reminds me, you're the very guy who I absolutely despise of and hate, and I'm sure as hell not gonna forget it. You got lucky last night, JBL, and sooner or later, I'm gonna settle the score, and then, and only then, we'll be even
John "Bradshaw" Layfield: Woah, hold it right there, you wannabe. As far as I know, if anybody tried to cheat their way to victory it was you, Kennedy. We'll never be even, Kennedy, because you're not in my league, and I'm a hell of a busy man, so I don't wanna waste my time on a no-hoper like yourself
William Regal: Excuse me, but if you want to go at it, then do so somewhere other than my office...I have a lot of work to do, so I can't withstand this verbal battle between the two of you...I'll tell you what, gentlemen, if you want to face eachother one more time, then you two can go one-on-one tonight
Big pop, these fans would love to see Mr. Kennedy and JBL go at it again
William Regal: As you and everybody know, all of tonight's matches are part of a tournament to determine the new #1 contender to the WWE Championship, so the winner will, like CM Punk did moments ago, advance to tonight's 5-man battle royal, and because your enthralling match last night was an ordinary match, tonight's match will be a No-Holds-Barred Match...Have a splendid night, gentlemen
Huge pop at announcement of No Holds Barred Match
Mr. Kennedy: Oh, I will, don't you worry, Willy
Mr. Kennedy walks out of the picture, as JBL shakes his head at William Regal, who frowns at the Self-Made Millionaire
Jim Ross: What a match made by Raw General Manager and co-WWE owner William Regal, Mr. Kennedy and JBL in a No Holds Barred match, less than 24 hours after their epic encounter at Judgment Day!
Jerry Lawler: This is a truly historical match, JR, and either one of these Superstars could make history at the end of tonight, because the winner advances to tonight's 5-Man Battle Royal, and the winner of that match goes on to face Triple H for the WWE Championship at One Night Stand!
Jim Ross: Although, King, if this match is anywhere near as brutal as their match at Judgment Day last night, then the winner won't make it to the 5-man Battle Royal!
~MATCH 2~
Winner Advances To 5-Man Battle Royal Tonight

ENDING: Jeff Hardy is hitting Shelton Benjamin repeatedly with right hands, and has the clear advantage in this match. Jeff Hardy goes for a clothesline, but Shelton Benjamin dodges the bullet of the Rainbow-haired Warrior, and hits Jeff Hardy with a back drop! Shelton Benjamin irish whips Jeff Hardy against the ropes, and lays out Jeff Hardy with a clothesline. Shelton Benjamin connects with the superplex, but can't find the energy to cover Jeff Hardy. Shelton Benjamin slowly recovers, and gets Jeff Hardy to his feet. Shelton Benjamin uses the ringropes to propel himself toward Jeff Hardy, but the Intercontinental Champion hits Shelton Benjamin with an arm drag. Shelton Benjamin is quick to get back up to his feet, but Jeff Hardy once rgain repeats the feat, taking down Shelton Benjamin with another arm drag. Jeff Hardy gets Shelton Benjamin to his feet himself, but Shelton Benjamin kicks Jeff Hardy in the mid-section, and irish whips Jeff Hardy towards the corner of the squared circle. ......3! Jeff Hardy is going to tonight's Main Event!
**No More Words** A belaguered Jeff Hardy has his hand raised by referee Chad Patton, and the Intercontinental Championship leaves the ring to celebrate his victory with the fans, as Shelton Benjamin, still lying on the canvas, looks on in anger
Jim Ross: Jeff Hardy advances to tonight's 5-Man Battle Royal, and Hardy has to be considered as a front-runner in the match, King!
Jerry Lawler: No doubt about it, JR, Jeff Hardy has momentum on his side, he returned and won the Intercontinental Championship from Chris Jericho last week on Raw, and tonight he's defeated Shelton Benjamin, but tonight's Main Event is what it's all about for Hardy!
Jim Ross: 3 places remain in the Battle Royal tonight, CM Punk and Jeff Hardy have already booked their tickets, but who out of Mr. Kennedy and JBL will make it?
Jerry Lawler: If it's up to the standards of all the other No Holds Barred matches we've seen over the years, JR, then neither of them will make it!
The camera switches to the backstage area, where Mike Adamle is standing by
Mike Adamle: Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together and welcome my guest at this time...the Straight-Edge Superstar, CM Punk!
CM Punk walks into the picture to a thunderous ovation
Mike Adamle: CM Punk, earlier on tonight you defeated Umaga to get to tonight's Battle Royal, where the winner will challenge for the WWE Championship at One Night Stand. CM Punk, how do you rate your chances of making it?
CM Punk: Well, Mike, after tonight's win against Umaga, I think I can do it...Umaga's a big, strong induvidual, and no matter who you are, when you beat Umaga, you can honestly say to yourself that you are among the elite that the WWE has to offer...If I don't win tonight, it's not a huge disappointment, because I could always cash in this baby
CM Punk holds up his Money In The Bank briefcase, being met with a good reaction from the Cleveland, Ohio audience
Mike Adamle: CM Punk, since you won the Money In The Bank at Wrestlemania, you have time after time threatened to cash in the briefcase...Will One Night Stand be the occasion when you finally live up to the hype, and cash in the Money In The Bank?
CM Punk: Mike, it's precisely that fact which is the beauty of being Mr. Money In The Bank...You can cash it in any time, any place, which keeps everybody in suspense, including myself, because quite honestly, I don't know when I'm cashing it in...Besides, like I said, I might not need to cash it in at One Night Stand, because who knows, I could always go out, kick the asses of four other Superstars, and defeat Triple H for the WWE Championship in less than two weeks time at One Night Stand...Now honestly, what's more likely?
Mike Adamle: I wouldn't know, CM Punk
CM Punk: Nobody does...like I said, that's the beauty of being Mr. Money In The Bank, and being Mr. Money In The Bank is the beauty of being C...M...Punk
CM Punk holds his Money In The Bank briefcase in the air, and leaves to a good reaction, as Mike Adamle looks on in confusion
**COMMERCIAL BREAK**
**No Chance** Mr. McMahon enters the Quicken Loans Arena to a good reaction, and the co-owner of World Wrestling Entertainment struts down to the ring in typical fashion.
Mr. McMahon: (Cough) Last week, William Regal revealed to myself and all of the viewers of Monday Night Raw that he was the co-owner of World Wrestling Entertainment
Tons of heat at mention of William Regal
Mr. McMahon: ...Over this past week, I have been getting information regarding the details of how William Regal pulled this off, and it turns out that William Regal brought out my wife's shares in the company...Now, I know my wife better than anybody, and Linda would never think of doing something of this significance behind my back, especially when it involves William Regal
More heat at mention of William Regal
Mr. McMahon: This has brought me to the conclusion that William Regal must have done something to persuade Linda to sell her share in the company, so I want William Regal to come down here right now, and tell the truth about what he did
**Promenade** William Regal, along with Shane and Stephanie McMahon, emerges from the curtain, getting tons of heat. William Regal, with Shane and Stephanie McMahon in tow, walks down the rampway and enters the ring
William Regal: ...Mr. McMahon, just the man I wanted to see...But from your perspective, not for the right reasons
A mixed response from the audience, fuelled with confusion
Mr. McMahon: Just cut the crap, Regal, what did you do to my wife?
William Regal: You see, Mr. McMahon, like yourself, I'm a very smart businessman, and I will do absolutely anything for success...Even threatening the wife of Mr. McMahon
Infinite heat for William Regal, as Mr. McMahon's eyes look like they're going to bulge out of their soccets
William Regal: Now, gentlemen...Roll the footage of my "break-in", if you may
Quote:
A video package airs on the High-Definition Set's TitanTron. The footage begins with Linda McMahon sitting in a living room in her house. Suddenly, the door opens, and William Regal, with numerous lawyers in tow, breaks into the house
|
Quote:
Linda McMahon: ...M-Mr. Regal, what a...surprise...How can I help you, sir?
William Regal: Ah, Linda McMahon, it's fantastic to see you on this fine night...Now, I'm here to discuss something quite serious with you
Linda McMahon: Oh...and what would that be?
William Regal: Well...it's not that you haven't done a good job and led by example in your role in WWE...But I feel it's time that you handed over your share in the company to somebody who is capable of leading this company into a new dimension
Linda McMahon: ...Er, sorry, Mr. Regal, but I can't do that behind Vince's back
William Regal: What Mr. McMahon doesn't know, won't hurt any of us...Now, hand over your shares in the company, before you and your family suffer serious repercussions
Linda McMahon defiantly shakes her head at William Regal, but the Raw General Manager pushes Linda McMahon up to the wall. William Regal throws Linda McMahon to the ground, who is in tears
William Regal: Sign these papers, you no-good slut!
Linda McMahon: No...I...Won't!
William Regal sports a sick smirk on his face, and pins Linda McMahon to the ground, but letting Linda's hand free. William Regal's lawyer puts a pen in Linda McMahon's hand, and puts the contract in front of the CEO of the WWE
William Regal: Linda, listen to me and this will be over and done with very soon...Just sign the contract, and we'll leave
William Regal pins Linda McMahon to the ground with more pressure, and Linda McMahon finally signs the contract. William Regal smirks, and the Raw General Manager, along with his lawyers, leave the house
|
The camera switches back to the Quicken Loans Arena, where William Regal is soaking up the heat. Mr. McMahon is livid
Mr. McMahon:I'll kill you, you sick bastard...
William Regal: No, you won't...But now, I know how...passionate you are about your business, and I know that what I did was clever...But wrong...So, in the interest of fairness, I am going to give you an oppurtunity to regain full control of the company, and I will give you that oppurtunity in less than two weeks time at One Night Stand...You and I will face eachother at One Night Stand
Mr. McMahon: ....Alright, you're on!
Big pop, these fans want to see these two go at it at One Night Stand
Mr. McMahon: ...But wait, we both own 50% of the company, and One Night Stand consists of entirely Extreme Rules matches on the card, so...who's going to choose the stipulation?
William Regal: Ah...I thought you'd ask about that, so I came up with a beneficial solution for both of us...The concept is, next week on Raw, a representative of mine and a representative of yours will compete against eachother, and whoever's representative wins, will decide the stipulation for One Night Stand
Mr. McMahon: Regal, you proved how half-witted you are by taking my wife hostage, so there's no chance in hell that you can outsmart me in this one...I'm choosing the stipulation at One Night Stand, Regal, and I'm gonna kick your ass all the way to hell and back, you son of a bitch!
Mr. McMahon takes William Regal to the canvas, and the two co-owners brawl ferociously, until security guards enter the ring, and break up the rivals. The screen fades with Mr. McMahon trying to escape from the security guards' grasps
Jim Ross: What sickening actions by William Regal, physically forcing Linda McMahon to hand over her shares in the company! I hope Mr. McMahon kicks that obnoxious, selfless, egotistical-
Jerry Lawler: Okay, JR, that's enough! We know where you're getting at, you want Mr. McMahon to beat William Regal at One Night Stand, alright?
Jim Ross: I wasn't even half-way to describing William Regal, King!
A One Night Stand advertisement enters the screen
Narrator: It is the one night a year, where you think about in anxiety every day...It is the one night a year, when it is not safe to be alone...It is the one night a year when the WWE goes extreme! WWE One Night Stand, June 1st, 2008...There is no more time to ponder what awaits you on your darkest day...Cometh the hour of the extreme, cometh the man...of the extreme

The camera switches backstage, where Todd Grisham is standing by
Todd Grisham: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time...John Cena!
A tense-looking John Cena walks into the picture, as Todd Grisham stands back, giving The Champ some space
Todd Grisham: John Cena, throughout Raw tonight, a number of matches have been held to determine who will enter the 5-Man Battle Royal Main Event later on, where the winner will face Triple H for the WWE Championship at One Night Stand. John, do you know if you are a part of this tournament yet?
John Cena: Well, Todd, it ain't been confirmed, but even William Regal has enough brains to do the right thing, and give me my oppurtunity, because the first chance I get, I'm gonna clean house, go to One Night Stand, and take back the WWE Championship I never lost! Why? Because it's what the WWE fans all around the world deserve...Do you know what frustrated me being the Special Guest Referee last night at Judgment Day, Todd?
Todd Grisham: What would that be, John?
John Cena: What frustrated me was quite simply the fact that I had to stand in that ring, watching two guys challenge Triple H for the WWE Championship, that don't deserve to be here, and I, quite frankly, just couldn't take it anymore...So, I took out Randy Orton from the match
Pop for John Cena
Todd Grisham: That brings me on to my next question, John Cena...Why did you take out Randy Orton?
John Cena: I kind of answered that when I said that I "couldn't take it anymore", but I'll give you a detailed explanation...You see, guys like Randy Orton are the kind that you see everyday of your lives...Obnoxious, arrogant, and riding their luck, and that's the kind of induviduals that you wanna absolutely beat the hell out of, and that's exactly what I did...I did the right thing, and-
???: (Cough) Excuse me?
John Cena and Todd Grisham turn to the right hand side of the screen, and there is a rather scruffy-looking William Regal, looking untidy after his brief altercation with Mr. McMahon earlier on tonight
William Regal: I haven't been able to contact you today, John Cena, you've had your phone turned off since Judgment Day, but now I can get hold of you...What you did last night at Judgment Day, John, was nothing short of one of the most despicable performances I have seen in my entire life, and don't you think for one second that you're going to get off that easy
Heat for William Regal
William Regal: You cost Randy Orton the WWE Championship last night, so I'm going to give him a once-in-a-lifetime oppurtunity to return the favour...John Cena, tonight you will be facing Randy Orton...
Big pop at announcement of blockbuster match
William Regal: ...And 5 other WWE Superstars of my choosing
Deafening heat for the Raw General Manager and co-WWE Owner, and John Cena is livid
William Regal: If, or to put it in a more suitable way WHEN, you lose the match tonight, then as Mr. McMahon would say, there will be no chance in hell of you competing for the WWE Championship at One Night Stand
John Cena: ...Fine, Regal, hit me with your best shot. But the fact remains, Willy, I ain't gonna be intimidated by you, Randy Orton, or the 6 other guys he's stepping into the ring with. I'm going to One Night Stand and taking back my WWE Title, and there's nothing, absolutely NOTHING, that can get in my way until then...Not even the sorry excuse of a human being who goes by the name of William Regal
John Cena walks out of the picture to a thunderous ovation, as William Regal shakes his head with a look of hatred on his face
Jim Ross: I sure hope William Regal gets what he deserves sooner or later, King. That sorry excuse for a human being, as John Cena rightly put it just moments ago, has virtually given John Cena no chance whatsoever of going to One Night Stand to compete for the WWE Championship.
Jerry Lawler: It looks to me like Randy Orton's going to be taking his spot in the Battle Royal now, JR, we better put our money on Orton, fast!
Jim Ross: Chris Jericho takes on Santino Marella, when we return to Monday Night Raw!

Jerry Lawler: Absolutely, JR, Y2J's just produced one hell of a performance with total ease, and Jericho will still be pretty fresh, going into tonight's Battle Royal!
Jim Ross: We can't say the same for one John Cena though, Cena has to face Randy Orton and 5 other Superstars of Raw General Manager William Regal's choosing!
Jerry Lawler: John Cena has the odds stacked against him tonight, JR, but as we've seen in the past, Cena can always pull out the win as the underdog, but can Cena do it tonight?
The camera switches backstage, where Trevor Murdoch is knocking on the door of the locker room of Lance Cade. Lance Cade opens the door, and a huge groan can be heard from Lance Cade, as Trevor Murdoch shakes his head at his former Tag Team Partner.
Trevor Murdoch: Why d'ya do it, Lance? You turn your back on the guy who stood by you for all these years, and with one match-changing, painful low blow, you threw away all the history and good times we had. Why?
Lance Cade rubs his stubbly chin, and quickly glares at Trevor Murdoch.
Lance Cade: Why? Because for far too long, I've had to withstand seeing you letting the team down, Trevor, and last night at Judgment Day, it was the final straw. I am sick and tired of you, Trev, my potential is endless, and the only guy responsible for holding me back is you. You know, you're making it look like I'm the bad guy in this. If one of these half-witted Cleveland fans were me, they would have done the same
Lance Cade gets some major heat, in response to Cade's harsh remarks about Cleveland, Ohio.
Lance Cade: Last night, I thought I saw the last of you, once and for all, but you keep coming back. Trevor, you've gotta face the facts - Without me, you're a worthless, no-good piece of utter garbage...I can move onto better things now, Trevor, and I can't describe how ecstatic I am that you're not a part of it.
Trevor Murdoch: You're not the man I cherished to know and loved like a brother, Lance...But this is your choice, and we'll just see who goes the furthest in their single paths, and after last night, Lance, you're never gonna know, thanks to me
Trevor Murdoch throws his cap to one side, and clobbers Lance Cade with a right hand! Trevor Murdoch brawls with his former Tag Team partner, and security arrive, to break up the two
