Tna Lockdown 2005

1.) Siaki/Apolo vs. Hoyt,Candido - **

This is the unfortunate match in which Candido had that terrible leg injury which soon later resulted in his death. Tough to rate, but the 3 men did good with the circumstances.

2.) Rhodes vs. Roode - 2/3 falls POD match - **1/4

Expected a crap match but it was actually pretty good until the whole blindfold thing came into play at the end.

3.)Bentley vs. Shocker vs. Sabin vs Dutt - X-scape match - ***3/4

Another match stealing awesome moonsault off the top of the cage by Trinity. Holy shit moment for sure! Great x-division match, not too impressed with Shocker though. Everyone else was fantastic.

4.) Hardy vs. Raven - Tables match - ***1/4

Great brutal high flying stuff. Especially by Hardy. He's fucking insane that's all there is to it.

5.) AMW vs. Team Canada - Strap match - ***

Liked that the straps weren't a major factor in the match. Overall good tag team action. Could've been a little better though.

6.) Daniels vs. Skipper - ***1/2

Great X-division action again. They used the "They know each other so well." routine where there were tons of counters and there was some great selling by Skipper.

7.) DDP/Waltman/Bg James vs. Jarrett/Brown/James)- Lethal Lockdown - **3/4

A little disappointed in this match, this is before they started lowering the cage so basically is an all out brawl the entire time. Nothing special but Monty was pretty cool. Pouncing fools left and right.

8.)Abyss vs. Styles - #1 Contenders match - ****1/2

One of my all-time favorite Tna matches for sure. They played the perfect Big vs Small theme where Abyss just brutalizes Aj for about Ten minutes including a sickening looking shot with the Cage door. Aj came with his A game and was doing some crazy spots. Pulling out all the stops to try and bring the Monster down. The tacks came into play later and were used very effectively. There was a noticeable botch on AJ's moonsault reverse ddt, but I don't think that it effected the match too much. Great great stuff by both men.

Overall an amazing ppv, definitely worth checking out. Solid wrestling action top to bottom nothing too terrible and an incredible Main event.
