Re: Presenting: Paul Heyman's Evolution Pro Wrestling.
It's done. EPW is finished.
Without getting into things to much, last night my Computer crashed. Fried the whole fucking HDD. I lost EVERYTHING. Months and Months of planning. Gone. I don't have the motivation nor the intention to start again with it. This is just murphies law because only two or three days ago I was debating whether I should post the next four shows because they were all written and ready to go, but alas, life goes on. Before I completely end this thread. I'm going to post some (what I remember) of the results of the next few PPV's and the culminations of a few storylines.
Redemption
Edge def. Rob Van Dam in a TLC Match for the EPW World Championship
RVD was injured and not seen for a while after.
CM Punk def. Muhammad Hassan for the Pacific Championship
Punk pinned Hassan after he copped an accidental Chair Shot from Daivari
LAX def. The Dudleyz, TWGTT & Juventud Guerrera/ Psicosis in a Last Team Standing Match.
Homicide was the last man standing, winning the match for the LAX.
Austin Aries def. 9 other men to win the Cruiserweight Championship.
Aries and Danielson were the first and the last two in the match. AJ Styles and Petey Williams were the surprise entrants.
Brock Lesnar def. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle was set to debut on the next show. This was a match I had written and Kurt's debut was one I'd been planning for months and to lose it is fucking gay because I really wanted to post it.
Rhino def. Samoa Joe in an Extreme Rules
Paul Heyman screwed Samoa Joe again and after the match Heyman named Joe the Number 1 Contender.
Christian Cage def. Chris Jericho via DQ
Cage won via DQ after Jericho, intent on making Cage suffer, wouldn't relinquish the Walls of Jericho despite Christian having a hold of the ropes.
Destiny
The main point of this PPV was the "Gauntlet to the Gold" match. This was the Main Event where the winner of every match on the Destiny Card would enter a Gauntlet to determine the Number 1 Contender at the Next PPV. Brock Lesnar won a Battle Royal on Enslaved to gain automatic entry.
Edge def. Rhino for the EPW World Championship
Monty Brown screwed Rhino.
Muhammad Hassan def. CM Punk in a Steel Cage Match to retain the Pacific Championship.
Another feud I was looking forward to really getting in to. It was set to really heat up. Punk dropped the title in a tag match with the stipulation if his team lost he lost the title to Hassan. I had planned for Hassan at one stage to hand cuff Punk to the ring ropes and force feed him alcohol. Hassan won the match after escaping the cage thanks to Punk being handcuffed to the ring ropes. (Ensuring Punk remained unpinned)
LAX squashed The Dudleyz
Just a filler to get the Tag Champs on the Card and to continue their momentum. Homicide pinned Bubba. This was the start of a big night for 'Cide.
Christian Cage def. Chris Jericho
Cage got a sneaky roll up on Jericho for the win.
Samoa Joe def. Sabu in a "Szumi's house of fun" Match
Szumi and I came up with this idea ages ago. It was some brutal thing. Mainly with light bulbs wrapped all around the ring ropes, barbwire all around the turnbuckles, thumbtacks every where. Anyway you get the idea. Anyway, Joe won. Pissing off Heyman, continuing their storyline more so.
Austin Aries def. Bryan Danielson
These two finally faced off one on one and Aries eventually came out on top in an epic.
Kurt Angle def. Charlie Haas
Simply a match to get Angle on the card but also the start of a push for Haas since he was to be far from embarrassed.
Homicide def. Shelton Benjamin & AJ Styles in the Final of the Road to the Gauntlet Tournament
This was the final match of a tournament where the winner gained entry into the the Gauntlet to the Gold match. Homicide picked up the win after hitting the Gringo Killa on Shelton.
Kurt Angle def. Homicide, Joe, Christian, Lesnar, Hassan, Aries & The Returning Rob Van Dam
Angle pinned RVD following his surprise return, which including him pinning Brock Lesnar but Lesnar had the last laugh, re-entering at the end nailing RVD with the F5 allowing Kurt to pick up the win. Homicide got a major rub in the match, pinning Christian and ending the unpinned steak of Austin Aries.
Blaze of Glory
"EPW's SUPERBOWL"
Edge def. Kurt Angle to retain the World Championship
CM Punk def. Muhammad Hassan in a First Blood Match to Win the Pacific Championship
LAX def. Generation Next to retain the Tag Titles
This match stemmed from LAX bragging they had no suitable contenders to their titles. Homicide pinned Shelly. Homicides dream run continues.
Bryan Danielson def. Austin Aries in a 2 out of 3 falls tag match to win the Cruiserweight Title
Rob Van Dam def. Brock Lesnar
This match stemmed from Lesnar's jealousy of RVD and Brock's feeling that RVD always stuck his nose into Lesnar's business.
Samoa Joe def. Mick Foley in a Hardcore Match
Another one of Heyman's challenges to Joe. Foley put up a big fight but it wasn't enough. The two shook hands after the match.
Chris Jericho def. Christian Cage in a Submission Only Match
Rhino def. Monty Brown
Rhino took out his frustrations on Brown after he screwed the War Machine out of all his recent big matches.
AJ Styles def. Shelton Benjamin
This one stemmed from Homicide pinning Shelton in the Triple Threat at Desinty and AJ being pissed off that Benjamin cost him a chance in the Gauntlet.

There you have it. EPW is done. Thank you to everyone who supported it and gave it a go but reality is this thread was never the same since I returned to it from my partnership with Apple Spitter. As far as my future in BTB goes, it's highly unlikely that you'll ever see me with another thread. There just aren't enough hours in the day for me to do BTB anymore.
