I love how you contradict yourself, talking about how numbers and championships don't count. Then you talk about how Duncan is worse than Kobe because he's never put up the numbers. It's great how you blow up Kobe's acomplishments, but then act as if Duncan's acomplishments don't mean anything.

And the Heat were bad champions. But just because they have a couple old players does not qualify their team to be "old".

Like I said no matter what i say about Kobe, it will always sound ridiculous to a naive person like you. So this would be the last time I am going to speak about this stupid argument of Duncan vs Kobe.

1. I am not discounting championships, but I am not overempahsizing on it either. If we based it on the number of rings, then Bill Russell should be the greatest of all time not Jordan. Duncan had 4 but never won back to back, while Kobe won 3 straight.I dont care about your Shaq excuse...they both needed each other just like TD needed Robinson, Parker, that won 2 of the 4 Spurs Finals MVP.

2. I never discounted TD's accomplishments... I say he would go down as the most accomplished players ever, but never the greatest. He's not even the greatest big man to ever play...you put Wilt, Kareem, Bird and Shaq ahead of him...much more to be compared to MJ who has the #1 spot. Kobe has often been compared to MJ and is on track to beat these guys scoring stats.

3. When you mention the name Tim Duncan, the first thing that comes out is consistency or fundamentally sound, not unstoppable, unguardable, dominant.

4. Kobe has always been a victim of double standard. People like you are the reason why Kobe hasnt won MVP until this year. People jump on his every mistake, yet you dont hear Lebron or AI (Sixers) being called a ballhog even when they take 75% of the team's shots, but when Kobe scored 81 to come from behind, he's a ballhog. When he passed the ball against the suns series, he gave up on his team. People dont think Melo is a bad person when he's caught DUI for a number of times and Kobe had a consentual sex and he's a criminal. Kobe was not a good teammate when he was demanding for a trade, when most of the unhappy superstars does it. Then Shaq took shots on lowly Ricky Davis and Quinn after getting traded...and people find him reasonable. He matured a lot this season and played well and people still talk about offseason...give the guy a break! He's not gonna lick your a$$ to get your sympathy, he shows it in the court.

5. After all that's been said, take away all the accomplishments, individual or team... stat for stat, ability, skill, range...who do you think can do it all? Or simply who is that guy you pick to beat the CPU one on one on NBA Live? - If you answer is still Tim Duncan - then you clearly lost your mind and I cant do anything about it.

Oh and for the other dude that said he would consider picking Lebron over Kobe to take the last shot...then good luck...you hope it would be a dunk and he wont get fouled, otherwise he's not gonna make it. He's not yet there...not saying he wont be...but not yet.

Enough said about this...I hope for a Spurs and Lakers WCF.
