Re: People that blame video games for violence
I only really play the Tomb Raider games and my 2 girls love watching me play. They don't run around vaulting over the furniture afterwards, nor do they go "Ah-ha" when they pick anything up.
Society likes to put the blame on other people. People like to diminish themselve of responsiblity so they'll find something to blame. If it's not video games, it's music and movies.
When I was a teenager, yes there was a time, games like Dungeons & Dragons were banned at my school as there were people taking those roll playing games too seriously and linked then to violence and suicide amongst it's users.
I wouldn't let my kids play some of the more violent games, to me that is common sense.
